Mary sealed to Heavenly Father by LDS proxy temple rites The Mormon Baptism of Mary, Mother of God
By Helen Radkey
Hail Holy Queen
Mary (the mother of Jesus) was a Jewish woman of Nazareth in Galilee, identified in the New Testament as the wife of Joseph and the mother of Jesus of Nazareth. Christians believe Mary conceived Jesus miraculously by the agency of the Holy Spirit. For twenty centuries, Christians have cherished Mary and given her titles that reflect their love and admirationsuch as the Blessed Virgin Mary, Theotokos (Mother of God), Our Lady, and Queen of Heaven. As the most celebrated woman in Christendom, Mary is considered the epitome of virtue by Christians, especially Catholics and Orthodox. Protestants generally perceive Mary as an outstanding example of a life dedicated to God. Over two thousand years after she gave birth to Jesus Christwho is recognized by Christians and Mormons as the Redeemer of mankindMary of Nazareth was offered eternal salvation through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS.)

I think we are having a personality clash here.
You seem to play the GOOD cop; while I am quite happy being the BAD one.
Stream of consciousness babbling is soooo entertaining...
That's because Natural Law does not
I'm not sure why you continue to be so aggressive with me. Scripture tells us how you and I should deal with each other.
"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will." - 2 Timothy 2:20-26
Jibber-jabber!
The title Mother of God is vile blasphemy.
The Son of God was God eons before Mary herself was even born. She added nothing to his existance but his humanity.
.
Speaking of blasphemy,
O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee.
and
Amen. As a member of the Militia Immaculata, this is incredibly offensive. Holy Mother of God, Blessed Theotokos, pray for us, who turn to thee.
Does anyone else see the irony?
>> “None of these invalidate Christianity.” <<
.
But calling Mary “Mother of God” or “Queen of Heaven” have nothing to do with Christianity, they are elementary paganism, done to mollify the pagans.
Kneeling in Prayer was practiced by Godly men since Adam was created, but there is zero evidence that it has ever been practiced by pagans before Roman Catholicism adoped paganism.

.
Indeed!
.
You are very forceful in telling me in how I should deal with heretics and false teachers; are you not?
I have posted several scriptures showing how the Apostles and even Jesus Himself did not mince words, and I get told that we believers today should NOT do that.
Philippians 2:5 kjv
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
It tells ME a LOT more than that!
Anyone else notice the MORMONs have slipped away?
You posted: Wait until Milt has the nomination. Youll learn more about Mormonism than you ever wanted to know.

No big fan of Romney, and I’m not Mormon, but I am a free religion supporter. What other religions say does not bother me because I don’t believe as they do. They would object to some of my beliefs as well.
If we truly believe in the Constitution we ought to respect others’ beliefs, even while disagreeing. Viewed by others, I am sure that my fairly mainline beliefs would also be considered outlandish.
If we truly believe in Christianity, we ought to challenge others beliefs, showing where we disagree.
Angry, hateful and condemning people see an angry, hateful and condemning God. God is not of our making, we were created by Him in His image. He is a loving, forgiving and merciful God who commanded us to love one another. God does not condemn anyone to hell, hell is a consequence completely of our own doing that we must consciously choose.
I pray that you find peace and love in your heart that you may lead, not drive, others to Salvation.

I think it is easier to challenge the beliefs of those who actually hold beliefs closer to our own, because we come from the same frame of reference. When we challenge the faith beliefs of those whose faith is SO different from our own it seems to me it becomes much more difficult. For example, you just cannot effectively argue Scripture with an atheist, or a Buddhist, for that matter. Mormonism seems to come closer to my Christian beliefs (I am a Methodist, but I don’t even agree with all of the positions that they hold.), so perhaps that is what creates the tension. But Mormons have additional writings in which they believe and in which I do not. How do you tell someone that their faith is wrong? I can tell people why I believe what I believe, but ultimately they have to make that decision.
Where in my post did you see anything against Governor Romney’s religion? What I said was that the Democrats will give the whole world a cram course in all the negative aspects of Mormonism and how it differs from mainstream Christianity and Judaism. If you don’t believe that, FReepmail me, I have a bridge I want to show you ... a real bargain!!
You are right, and while I stand by what I said, I should not have anything against you, and for that I apologize.
My point still stands as to anyone (especially including the Democrats, who will attack his Mormonism purely for political gain, and not as a true religious discussion— after all, separation of church and state, right?) that when it comes to matters of faith each of us follows our own beliefs, and faith is something that is very difficult to argue against with any effectiveness. It almost always devolves into insults and name-calling at worst, or, at best, arguing from two divergent starting points, which is a waste of time. I am comfortable telling people what I believe and why I believe it, but I have to acknowledge that what I believe I believe by faith, and that I cannot prove it by any means that non-believers would accept.
Again, please forgive me for jumping to any conclusions about your own beliefs.
You may be impartial in that way, but the great mass of voters out there will not be, as you surely know. Mr. Obama may win an undeserved reelection solely due to his being able to paint Gov. Romney’s religion as “weird” and Romney himself as Thurston Howell III.
