No big fan of Romney, and I’m not Mormon, but I am a free religion supporter. What other religions say does not bother me because I don’t believe as they do. They would object to some of my beliefs as well.
If we truly believe in the Constitution we ought to respect others’ beliefs, even while disagreeing. Viewed by others, I am sure that my fairly mainline beliefs would also be considered outlandish.
If we truly believe in Christianity, we ought to challenge others’ beliefs, showing where we disagree.
Where in my post did you see anything against Governor Romney’s religion? What I said was that the Democrats will give the whole world a cram course in all the negative aspects of Mormonism and how it differs from mainstream Christianity and Judaism.
