SALT LAKE CITY -- An LDS-oriented group is calling on GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum to disavow a pastor who made anti-Mormon comments earlier this week.
In a news release, MormonVoices, which is associated with the Foundation for Apologetic Information and Research, called for Santorum to "condemn the anti-Mormon comments made by his supporter, an honorary Florida chairman, the Rev. O'Neal Dozier" of the Worldwide Christian Center.
On Monday Dozier said "the Mormon religion is prejudiced against blacks, Jews and native Americans." He called Mormonism a "racist" religion and called on Romney to renounce it.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints did not issue a response to Dozier but earlier has said "people of all races have always been welcomed and baptized into the church since its beginning" and "the church unequivocally condemns racism, including any and all past racism by individuals both inside and outside the church."
Scott Gordon, managing director of MormonVoices, not associated with the church, said, "Dozier's comments represent a form of religious bigotry that should not be tolerated by any serious candidate for the Presidency of the United States. His comments are either ignorant or are willful misrepresentations for personal or political purposes."

Sounds good. It would be even better if he stole it from you verbatim.
Beats the HELL out of using SLAVE LABOR!
Have you scolded THEM??
You are assuming that LDS people whole-heartedly are going for Romney - because he is LDS.

The first time that the article was posted, someone, a Romney supporter, sent me a FreepMail, calling it to my attention.
It is customary to pull duplicate threads on FreeRepublic. Did you do a search?
Are you the thread police now?
I could be. I’m very tired of the Romney supporters attack tactics.
It is only customary when they are from the same source. And the OP and most (if not all of us) on here are NOT Romney supporters.
No, it is customary to remove duplicate posts when the content is identical. For instance an AP article could be printed on many, many web sites, but would not be acceptable to be posted from each site.
I know that many of you aren’t Romney supporters, many are Paulers. Same thing as far as I’m concerned.
NOW you’ve done it! LOL
I know that many of you arent Romney supporters, many are Paulers. Same thing as far as Im concerned.

Please point out the “Paulers”. None of the Flying Inamans including the OP support Paul. We are all for Newt and/or Santorum.
The point of posting this isn’t to attack Santorum but show the hypocrisy of Mormonism. Is that so hard to wrap your brain around?
Why are you so hostile to people who are ON YOUR SIDE candidate wise?
I don’t really care, who you are supporting. I’m tired of Freepers who do nothing but attack other GOP candidates and hound posters who support Santorum. That was the purpose of the Freepmail, calling my attention to the article.
The Santorum posters do not post negative articles about the other candidates, nor do they hound the supporters.
