1 Samuel 2:2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. (for Catholics however, “all holiness” is given to Mary)
Conqueress of evil and death
Hosea 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. (but Catholics claim it was Mary who conquered death)
Convert the wicked
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; (Catholics have even replaced the Holy Spirit with Mary)

Need I go on? Catholics have replaced virtually every attribute and working of God and given that to Mary in their worship.

That’s ok. I don’t need some guy living in utter luxury in palaces, wearing fine clothes, eating fine food, only spending his time with the finest of people to tell me whether or not I’m right with God.
This one I know. The answer is "No."
Galileo was honored more than once by the Vatican. he was free to explore a heliocentric hypothesis.
However, a logical consequence of the heliocentric hypothesis is parallax. That is the position of a planet, for example, compared to the position of the "fixed stars" behind it, should be different, all other things being equal, in June from what it would be in December.
And this consequence has been verified, after the development of instruments subtle enough to measure it.
BUT in the time of Galileo there was no measurable difference. So Galileo was told he could not say his theory was definitely true. He was welcome to explore it and to publish his explorations. He just couldn't say it was true because there was no proof.
he not only was allowed to 'suggest' that the earth was not the center of the universe, he received public Vatican honors for the suggestion.
