You guys don’t get it, you don’t have to know any of this stuff.

You just have to have faith in God and Believe.

My point was the condemning of a person which isn’t very Christian.

Again, you can condemn Mormonism till the cows come home.

There you go yet again.

Show us the condemnation you see so plainly.

AH according to God you do...

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:12-15

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19, 20a

You have to believe rightly on core issues - Person work and nature of Christ which includes the Trinity. Mormons don’t believe in any of that the same way ALL Christians (Catholic, Evangelical, Orthodox) do.

You are the one who doesn’t ‘get it’. Beck is promoting Mormonism and doing so in a way that is deliberately deceptive. He isn’t stupid, so you can’t say he doesn’t know what he is doing. And I will fight those who teach a false Christ and lead others away from HIM regardless of who it is or where it is, Mormon or not.

This isn’t condemning a person, it is condemning false beliefs that he spreads to others who don’t know better and think Mormons are Christians or CAN be Christians.

Which God? Mormons have many and NONE of them are the God of the Bible.

Another person who had a profound affect on my leaving mormonism is my now (and only) husband.

We grew up together off and on and one day I thought he was going to ask me out (we had just started at the same college) and instead he told me he could no longer be friends with me because I was Mormon (I converted in High school) and I was headed for Hell and it hurt him.

I moved to Utah shortly after that but I never forgot it, his blunt comment (judging or attacking to you) hurt me, but it also haunted me. I never forgot it. Some years later as I was leaving Mormonism, he was the first one I called to tell. He was also instrumental in my becoming a Christian - before we even started to date.

Bluntness works.
