Yet again we see the

REPLACEMENTARIAN Alice’s rabbit hole has a lot in common with the

Vatican Cult’s Alice’s rabbit hole.

One criteria/standard for each blasphemous cult, a very different one for others.

When the sources are uncomfortable, pretend they are unverifiable.

What rot.

None of the REPLACEMENTARIANS have ever explained how

DAMASCUS was destroyed in AD 70 . . . and never lived in again . . .

Nor the global government including every people group—did NOT happen in AD70.

The list could go on and on and on.

Christ smashed The Roman Empire. Judeo-Christian civilization conquered the world. The Church replaced The Roman Empire and exceeded its accomplishments. By The Church, I mean the whole of Christianity — Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Pentecostal.

Why is the time of tribulation shortened to 3 1/2 years? FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT. Those are believers who are present during the time. Believers have always suffered for their faith. God has always made a distinction between His people and those of the devil. Some of the 10 Plaques in Egypt did not affect the children of Israel. The plagues of flies, livestock, hail, darkness, locusts, and firstborn did not affect them.

Goodness.

Y’all’s rubberized ‘Bibles’ are stretchier than some of the RC’s.

Incredible.

What a lesson in how to render God’s Word of no effect.

Hideous.

If guilt by association is your game, Jehovah’s Witnesses also believe in an invisible return of Christ. They said it happened in 1913.

One of the things they teach you in seminary is to learn the other guy’s line of reasoning. “Search out a matter”, it says in Proverbs.

Dispensationalists say the Holy Spirit is removed from the Earth during The Great Tribulation, and that the ‘tribulation saints’ are all Jews. Then how can they be saved if there is no Holy Spirit around? How can Christ indwell them if The Spirit of Christ is nowhere to be found? How will they stand against severe persecution if there is no Comforter? And why can only Jews be saved? What about Messianic Jews? Are they raptured with the rest of The Bride, or are they left behind? I believe Christ shall return with the trumpet blast of the Archangel (a lound noise). He shall raise up the dead in Christ first, and then we who remain shall join Him in the air on The Last Day. But first the gospel must be published in all nations, which Wycliffe Bible Translators is doing. There are still some unreached peoples to go.

Not hideous at all. It’s called chewing the cud. You take the Word of God and what you know of history, archaeology, etc., znd pass it to me, and I chew it and pass it back. That’s what the church does, and the Holy Spirit teadhes us both.

The Scriptures are clear

The Anti-Christ’s world government in the END TIMES

WILL ENCOMPASS

EVERY NATION/PEOPLE GROUP.

DID *NOT* happen in AD 70 nor any time since.

It is getting ready to happen. Anyone not seeing that is living in self-destructive levels of

DENIAL.

That ONE FACT ALONE is sufficient to scuttle all the REPLACEMENTARIAN et al garbage.

Throw in Damascus, the Mark of The Beast and a list of other END TIMES PROPHECIES impossible to ascribe to AD70 or any time since . . . and the

REPLACEMENTARIAN, Preterist et al perspectives become GROSSLY ABSURD.

Several years ago, I understood that Wycliffe calculated they could cover the remaining people groups within 12 years.

Thanks for your kind reply.

Thankfully, the REPLACEMENTARIAN perspectives are soooooooooooooooo

shallow, silly, absurd . . . and definitely soooooo UNBiblical . . . it doesn’t take a lot to poke holes in such hideousness.

You are exactly right. Even Christians want have a “normalcy bias”. In the hope nothing changes drastically. 2011 will explode in change.

“There was no pre-trib rapture teaching before JN Darby and his friend, Margaret MacDonald.”

That is a common lie repeated by those who do not believe in the rapture. Fransisco Ribera, a Jesuit Priest, wrote a 500 page article in 1585. He believed the Rapture would occur at least 45 days before the end of the 3 1/2 year tribulation period. This set the stage for the beliefs involving pre-trib and post trib. I think 1585 is just a weeeee bit before Darby and MacDonald.

BTW, those kinds of truths have been documented on FR repeatedly.

The REPLACEMENTARIANS are as cheeky as some of the Romanists in denying

both

authentic history

and

authentic Scripture.

In regard to Damascus, you must be referring to Isaiah 17. You are right. Damascus has never ceased to be a city. It has risen and fallen in prominence. The power of Aram, in line with the prophecy, is long gone. It ceased to exist in the 8th century B.C., destroyed by the Assyrians. There are vast portions of Biblical prophecy which remain to be fulfilled — most of Ezekiel, for example. I believe in Christ’s imminent return. Paul says Christ’s return will not catch believers as a surprise, because we are looking for it. (I Thess. 5:4)

Hmmmm

It is encouraging that you are evidently not totally awash in

REPLACEMENTARIAN/PRETERIST ABSURDITIES.

Every time someone post something on the rapture or the tribulation it seems the same doubters ping each other and flood the thread. They are as predictable as Paulbots showing up on a CPAC thread. I really don’t care anymore. What does it matter anyway? Can’t change their minds. I would think even the Rapture doubters though can see clearly enough to know something has been set in motion on God’s clock and we are truly on an unstoppable path to the end-times. If they can’t see that then they are truly blind.
