On Friday night, Anderson Cooper conducted a must-see interview with congressional candidate Renee Ellmers, the North Carolina Republican who is running the most baldly anti-Muslim advertisement of the year. This was the ad we told you about last week that refers to the organizers of Park51, "the Muslims," and "terrorists" interchangeably.
In the interview (via TPM's Eric Kleefeld), Cooper challenges Ellmers on her conflation of Muslims and terrorists. She responds: "[T]hat is certainly not what I'm intending to say. I am not intending to say that all Muslims are terrorists."
She floats the idea that the organizers of Park51 are terrorists before acknowledging that she doesn't know much about Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.
During an exchange about whether Park51 is a "victory mosque," a frustrated Cooper exclaims: "That's like the lowest response I have ever heard from a candidate, I have got to tell you."

We saw tht interview. She DEVOURED him and while he tried...she didn’t let him speak over her. She kept right on speaking and you could see him pull back and was FUMING! Weasel.

But someone needs to reminds her that Christian warriors did not seize Rome from pagans in a war and then built a victory cathedral on the site of their conquest.

Islam is a criminal enterprise tenuously held together by the preponderance of ignorance and the threat of violence.
We believe that muslims, like communists, are on their best behavior when they are afraid.
There is the erroneous assertion that Radical Islam is not connected with mainstream (moderate) Islam in any way, that the religion of Islam has been “hijacked by a few extremists” that the vast majority of Muslims do not agree with the Islamofascists. Such thinking is a terrible error and a grave threat to America’s national security, especially in this age of nuclear terrorism.
So what is Radical Islam and what should it be properly named? Radical Islam is actually the Islamic Military. The so-called radicals are not a fringe element; they are fully supported by the worldwide Islamic community (Ummah). If they were a fringe element, they would have been defeated long ago. The fight rages on because of strong support from the moderates both covertly and overtly. This means the Islamic Military (wrongly labeled radicals) is intimately connected with moderate Muslims who we have mistakenly labeled as innocent bystanders.
Moderate Muslims are not innocent bystanders. Moderate Muslims provide the base of operations which makes it possible for the Islamic Military to continue their terrorist operations. Hate America, demands to replace constitution with the Koran, and outbursts for Sharia law are preached openly from nearly every Mosque in America under the guise of freedom of speech and religion. Freedom of speech and religion has morphed into a weaponized tool of Islamic psychological warfare which is defeating America’s will to protect her national security. Any American who says Islam is less than perfect may become the victim of an unfair lawsuit by a “moderate” Muslim organization.
What I would love to see an interviewee say to these agenda driven libs: "Sir (or Madam), If you talk over me one more time this interview is OVER!!!!" Unfortunately, the interview would end up on the cutting room floor.

I resembles a phoenix taking flight, with the beak pointed directly at downtown Raleigh. I live right in the centor of the west wing. The ‘beak’ is there to capture the reliable Dem votes in Garner (a suburb of Raleigh and one of the nastiest) and overwhelm the semi-rural Rep votes everywhere else.

And a lot of the CNN lineup.
Anderson is such a condescending little twit.
...and he was owned to the point he had to redirect his pitiful attacks after she left the show.
Also, her parallel question was on the mark and struck a nerve...why is it that these homosexuals always have to be so perplexedly overly dramatic.
He was literally grilling her in a shotgun and disrespectfully condescending manner.
She was great...another worthy GOP candidate.
