Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

As went Scotland, so goes this country.

America has ALWAYS had Catholics and the percentage of Catholics has been fairly level for about a century. What is it that you think was so great about America BEFORE the major influx of Catholics? Slavery?

I would never say, however, that all anti-Protestants are bigots and are not Christian,

If a Catholic on here hated Protestants with the vitriol that is exhibited toward Catholicism by some, I would be inclined to say that this person was not a Christian or a Catholic.

And that remains a pathetic, vile and really stupid remark.

Stay classy.

But Rome typifies Aquinas’ bias.

No coincidence.

Are you aware of the difference between "private interpretation of Scripture" and the private interpretation of "prophesy"?

Good grief. Why not just start throwing words together randomly and see if the other side will argue about them, is that what's going on in your posts?

OK. I understand you don't make a distinction between "Scripture" and "Prophecy". That explains a lot.

Yep, Protestants must be "proud" of the lengths they have gone to in rejecting Catholicism."

Let's be fair. There are a large number of mainstream Protestants such as orthodox Lutherans, Anglicans and Baptists that share the Catholic beliefs regarding the sanctity of life.

However, there is a secular presence that pervades all modern society. Unfortunately too many progressive Christian Churches, including some Catholic orders have drunk the kool-aid. Where we agree with Protestants let's lock arms and face down real evil.

Few of us will ever have the time or opportunity to be scholars of ancient languages so it really surprises me that the many works of those that have are so regularly ignored when trying to understand the meaning of words of such an important book as the Bible.

“I used google and a 60 year old Latin dictionary. :-)”

Yep, save them old books, they grow in value by the year. (and Latin hasn't changed in the past 60 years)

LOL. Maybe Latin hasn't changed but the understanding of Latin, and the Vatican experts, certainly has.

As soon as I saw the word hymen show up in post 8978 I knew sooner or later I'd get pinged into the discussion. Huzzah!

To believe that the BVM remained a virgin during the birth of Our Lord implies that the BVM remained a virgin during the birth of Our Lord.

To believe that the BVM remained virginal her entire life implies that the BVM remained a virgin her entire life.

Sometimes it's useful to examine the way people characterize the intentions of others because it reveals a lot about the people doing the characterizing.

"You believe X because Y" says more about the speaker's relation to Y than anything else.

You are right, but the fact remains that many Protestant denominations have officially endorsed these sins.

I believe that the Blessed Mother did die and the Church certainly accepts this possibility

Does what an individual believe matter?

lol

I've heard to use tomato juice (or maybe sauce). It's probably a good thing you were told about vinegar first.

Hmm, shades of Kosta's Reformed Random Verse Generator with which so many nonsensical Reformed proofs are presented.

I'm always to learn, or unlearn, any mistaken definition of words even when ridiculed by the Prince of Snark. (I recognize that the meaning of many words in the English language have changed since the ancient times - when I learned the language.)

Perhaps you can explain in what way the words "presence" and "person" have become synonyms.

Calvinists do not believe in "once saved always saved", we believe in the preservation of the Saints.

Thank you! Much more comprehensible.

> “I thus spent my night washing her outside in cold upstate NY to the wee hours of the morning...”

. A suggestion:

Keep a gallon of distilled white vinegar and a large spray bottle on hand for the next time this emergency comes along.

Better for you, better for the dog. It’ll all be over in 10 minutes, and you can get your sleep.

Or get a cat. They aren't as stupid as dogs. :-)

Three positions offered with the word “implies”.

Implying is not the same as teaching, nor is implying a truth detector.

“Get the drift?”

There is no drift. There is only truth.

There is NO teaching of the Church that “implies” that human sexuality in marriage is base and immoral nor does it have a “low opinion of marriage.” Rather, the Church teaches of the reverence to be shown of such, and the sacredness of the marriage union, and the sacredness of the family unit as the “domestic Church”.

The Church does NOT teach nor ask us to believe that it is morally superior for priests and nuns not to marry. That’s a false accusation.

Christians believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary. God alone knows how that actual birthing process took place, and it can be just as “false” for any person to assume that it wasn’t miraculous from start to completion.

Why bring up Irish and Italian men? Once again, the broad-brush, all-emcompassing, one-size-fits all approach.

About that quote from Genesis 1:28.

We listened and did our share—we had a large family, all of our adult children still practicing Catholics, and now we have 8x6 in the number of direct descendants.

From the same university where they give degrees in Pomposity?

Oh yes, they don't discriminate. They will give the same degree to an even older lady.

What does the Virgin Birth have to do with human sexuality?

Why would keeping her hyman intact necessary? Why would it be necessary for her never to have relations with her husband?

Was her birth canal now sacred ground never to be used for the purposes that God designed it for?

Is Childbirth sinful?

Yes, the difference is that all Churches have sinners within their ranks, some Churches embrace the sinners, and some Churches have openly embraced the sin.
