I'm always to learn, or unlearn, any mistaken definition of words even when ridiculed by the Prince of Snark. (I recognize that the meaning of many words in the English language have changed since the ancient times - when I learned the language.)

Perhaps you can explain in what way the words "presence" and "person" have become synonyms.

"Prince of Snarkness" would have been better I think. Of course you might have been better off going with something like "King Catty". That would have prevented your target from a reply along the lines of:

I am merely a prince in your majesty's kingdom.
