Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

WHEN GOD

HIMSELF, WALKING ISRAEL'S PATHS 2000 YEARS AGO

REPEATEDLY

REFERRED TO

"IT IS WRITTEN . . ."

AS HIS

POINT OF AUTHORITY denial of that is a

DENIAL OF GOD'S OWN EMPHASIS.

He did not even say:

"DADDY SAYS: . . . "

HE, CREATOR GOD, SAID

"IT IS WRITTEN . . . "

Papal Pontificators' STUBBORN, REBELLIOUS REFUSAL TO TAKE THOSE DECLARATIONS OF FINAL AUTHORITY FOR WHAT THEY ARE,

Is yet again a brazen addiction to idolizing an INSTITUTION, A DOGMA, ANOTHER GOSPEL, SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM AND OPPOSED TO GOD'S AUTHORITY.

There's no more charitable way to put the stark horrific truth.

Weasel words about the bureaucratic magicsterical power-mongers will not do.

Appeals to rubber 'Bibles' & rubber histories about Peter and the Vatican before it began in 300-400AD will not do.

The stark TRUTH IS

CREATOR GOD IN PERSON DECLARED

"IT IS WRITTEN . . . "

AS A POINT OF FINAL AUTHORITY.

REFUSAL TO TAKE CREATOR GOD'S OWN DECLARATIONS OF WHAT HE HIMSELF APPEALED TO AS THE FINAL AUTHORITY

IS BEYOND SUICIDALLY IGNORANT, REBELLIOUS IDIOTIC & STUPID.

IT IS STUBBORNLY REBELIOUS.

It is sticking an INSTITUTION'S FOSSILIZED GRANITE FINGER IN GOD'S EYE AND INSISTING THAT THE INSTITUTUION KNOWS BETTER THAN GOD.

HUBRIS TO THE MAX is an inadequate phrase by many orders of magnitude.

That is what I thought.. no scriptural support for the priesthood after the final priest..the one which was prefigured by the Levitical priesthood, offered the FINAL sacrifice for sin..HIMSELF.. THE PERFECT LAMB OF GOD

However, JA,

IF

I could be confident, that

somehow in spite of all the horrific blasphemies and idolatries inherent in the system, the institution,

That each day some of the features of the RCC left you in growing intimacy with Jesus, I'd generally, if not virtually always, not bother you about it.

I have mostly a peace in my heart on that score regarding Mad Dawg--sufficient to let the parts that disturb me be vis a vis his Christian walk. I bother him about some issues simply because he's one of the saner and better RC's to dialogue with about such things--not, per se because I'm greatly alarmed about his soul's eternal resting place.

I know that regardless of some theological things, many hereon demonstrate so much bitterness, resentment, vengeance and unforgiveness, I doubt that any theology would be of much value until they get those things right with God and with others.

Put a bit differently . . .

I've often pondered . . . what if Mad Dawg woke up some Sunday morning having just had a visitation or dream in which Christ Himself convinced MD that some of the more outrageous things in the RCC were really worse than uncool.

Assuming that Christ had not exhorted otherwise, I could well imagine MD staying within the RCC simply because at his age and with his span of ministry, such a change would not be all that easy and would likely be more troublesome than it might be worth for him or those who could learn from him.

I could imagine something similar with regard to you.

++++Where would you find Megachurch Preacher in the NT?++++

Aww that is way too easy a question D .. surely you can come up with a better one..

Act 2:5 ¶ And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
Act 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
Act 2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
Act 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
Act 2:9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
Act 2:10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
Act 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Act 2:12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
Act 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
Act 2:14 ¶ But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
Act 2:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.
Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Act 2:22 ¶ Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Act 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Act 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Act 2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
Act 2:26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
Act 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Act 2:28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Act 2:29 Men [and] brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Act 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
Act 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Act 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Act 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Act 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
Act 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Act 2:37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Act 2:40 ¶ And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and ++++++the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.+++++++
Act 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Act 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Act 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Act 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need. ,BR. Act 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, ,BR. Act 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.,

This is a very interesting scenario, Quix. And I would not presume to know what MD would do if this happened. I would love to read his response to this and will follow thread to see.

The first problem I can see is having to stand up against all who would use the "poorly catechised" reaction.

The "more troublesome than it might be worth for him or those who could learn from him" brings me to a quiet contemplation of the scenario. Anyway, I just wanted to respond to your post. It could lead to a very deep conversation with all who seek God with all their heart. Thank you.

There aren't many, to be sure. Ask somebody who has met Pope John Paul II, or Mother Teresa, or Pope Benedict and they will have the same general description of that aura.

Seems to me I've heard pretty much the same about The "Chosen One" Obama.

Wise and well put words.

Appreciate it. I would implore you to remember that I heartily believe that the floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops - Catholic bishops, that is. We believe that they have a high calling and with much responsibility to the Lord. They would be treated in kind, just as the dishonest steward:

I could imagine something similar with regard to you.

I will post my final post to you, say whatever you like after this.

I have met many genuine followers of Christ in many place and many denominations. I did NOT impulsively, or on a whim, choose the Catholic Church. When I had a very disruptive, challenging, and wonderful experience of the Touch of Almighty God over a four day period, after becoming Catholic, it was the Cistercian monks who helped me get my feet on the ground and encouraged me to fall in love with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They also taught me the Rosary, which I had ignored until then, and how to use the Lectio Divina.

I was not made into a perfect person, and I don't care about that. Critique me and my Church however you wish, it is completely unimportant. As are you and your rude, hostile, uncomprehending, repetitive, unreasoned remarks.

I, am in the Loving, Saving Hands of God Almighty, and I just can't take all this baloney seriously. Occasionally it's interesting, occasionally I learn something, but the basics never ever change. I belong to Christ, and I love Him above all else, and in Him I find life, happiness, warmth, peace, humor, hope, and salvation and The Dance.

All the unpleasant remarks of the reformed, to me, over several different subjects for YEARS, have indicated to me that this is the favored method of communication of all of you. If they get from me what they dish out, tough.

I know this is not a scientific study but in my travels through local towns I notice the great majority of the Protestant Churches list formal Bible Study at least one night a week on their sign boards. Not so common for the Catholic Churches.

Around here, anyway, it's not the kind of thing Catholic churches would put on their sign boards, assuming they have one at all. Of those that do, some have only the name of the church and some add the Mass times. Bible study (alng with other parish activities) would be listed in the parish bulletin.

Thanks for the info. In my day, back in the old ages, there was no Bible study in the Catholic Churches. In fact it was not until I attended a Protestant Church that I was introduced to the Bible. (Ours at home was used to record births and deaths, but not read.)

I understand this has changed in recent years but I have no idea to what extent it has changed.

"Jhn 18:30 They answered and said unto him"

Unless you are now professing that Jesus was a ventriloquist act it was the crowd who spoke. Jesus didn't sway anything because He knew the truth would not be given heed.

You continue to give reasons why you personally reject a priesthood, but have not yet given me any reason to accept your opinions as valid.

To apply different standards for support of doctrines on the basis of preference for doctrines is hypocrisy.
Wrong. The Church Fathers are part of the Holy Tradition. Do any of them mention Sola Scriptura? (from post # 11,836)

From:

HIPPOLYTUS OF ROME
EXPOSITORY TREATISE AGAINST THE JEWS.

9. There is, brethren, one God, the knowledge of whom we gain from the Holy Scriptures, and from no other source. For just as a man, if he wishes to be skilled in the wisdom of this world, will find himself unable to get at it in any other way than by mastering the dogmas of philosophers, so all of us who wish to practise piety will be unable to learn its practice from any other quarter than the oracles of God. (www.earlychristianwritings.com)

Does “from the Holy Scriptures, and from no other source.”, qualify as sola scriptura?
