LOL. No answer from Rome, I see.
Figures.
lol. False alarms abound.
> “We have the records here on FR which remain unedited. You call the Body of Christ a cracker.”
.
And the records of FR show clearly that I called your pagan seance cookie a cookie.
That pagan cookie has nothing whatsoever to do with the Lord Jesus Christ nor his body, standard Catholic lack of reading comprehension not withstanding.
old reggie says the pope is imaginary, maybe Rome is too
Oh dearie me. I thought that you guys carried around little vials of kumbaya dust for the occasions when you feel like speaking ill. :)
Wellllll I have attended Mass many times in my long life. ist premise down.
Yes, Wiccans, Athiests, Jews, and many Catholics are Unitarians. So What?
Frankly, I claim no "wisdom" whatsoever concerning the Scripture which may be read or understood during Mass. I do; however, rely on Catholic sources.
The Lord never gave consent to pray to your Mary-Ishtar proxy.
All of our prayers must go to the Father, under the authority of the Son’s name.
No it was not taken out of context IT WAT CRYSTAL CLEAR TO THE PEOPLE WHO LEFT. Christ didnt chase after them and say just joking. So selective.Matthew 13: 3 And he told them many things in parables, saying: "A sower went out to sow. 10 Then the disciples came and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" 13 This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 34 All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable. 35 This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet: "I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world."
Bingo! Jesus, was not "woohing" those who left. They were not real believers. The secrets of the kingdom were only given to the real disciples.
Luke 8:9He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, " 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'
The metaphor is easily again in John 6:40 and the parralel verse in John 6:54. Belief in verse 40 and the metaphor (eat flesh and blood) in verse 54. Both the reality and the metaphor, result in eternal life.
John 6:40 For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
John 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day
John 6:63 "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing"
I posted about another's untruthfulness; the very words of that author convict convincingly.
OK — thanks!
. And the records of FR show clearly that I called your pagan seance cookie a cookie.
And now you're calling the Eucharistic Liturgy a seance and the Eucharist a cookie. I see that the untruth has simply changed names, but not state. Up to you.
Thanks for the introduction to Wright! Bookmarked!
I am TV-deprived (praise God.)
Not me, I have DISH with everything
No, God forbid. I would say most emperors would have seen that as a step-down.
The Pope says Old Reggie is imaginary. I have met the Pope and seen him on several other occasions. Can't say the same for Old Reggie. No evidence of his existence beyond some contrarian html code. All transmitter and no receiver.
First, you have no proof of that, and second I stated a biblical fact that you, a believer, apparently choose to ignore. I will assume you don't have an answer.
No! Your joke concerning the "innacuracy" of his posting. Get it now?
I didn't think you would pray with me with or without the reference to Mary. Thank God your opinion is worth no more than I paid for it.
Your version of Christianity, if it can be called Christian, reminds me of the ultra Orthodox and Hasidic Jews I encountered in Israel. You and they don't believe God's word went far enough and have taken upon yourselves to extend them on your own authority. Where they have taken an admonition to eat no meat cooked in its mothers milk, a reference to a Baal ceremony, they have taken it to an extreme and interpreted it as absolutely no meat and dairy in the same kitchen, ever. You have gone off on your own tangents. That, my friend, is between you and God, just don't expect me to respect it.
Stupid is as stupid does. Old Reggie said no such thing.
He does say the "unbroken" line of Popes, beginning with Peter, is imaginary.
He does say there was no Pope when Constantine called the first Ecumenical Council.
He does say the Bishop of Rome was not recognized as the "Pope" of the Catholic Church for hundreds of years.
He does say the Bishop of Rome was not considered important enough to be invited to the Council called by Constantine V.
He could continue but he is tired of silly games.
