The Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant churches don’t recognize the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as Christian because it rejects the doctrine of the Trinity. It teaches that God is the father of the spirits of all people born on the earth. Jesus is considered the first of God’s spirit children and also God’s physical son.

Mormonism is not Christianity...
Ya notice they dont say “I’m a Christian..”
They just say “I’m a mormon...”
Henry Reid is a Mormon?!
WTF?
I thought that religion had anti-Communist leanings?
I thought they were on the side of human freedom? How can they tolerate this dangerous entity in their church?
It was explained to me that they were on the side of human freedom.
Huge disappointment.
BTW, the reason I posted this was because I was curious about two things:
1) What do you all think of this ad campaign?
2) Do you think that it is a *good* thing to be labeled as *just regular folks*?
(I know the LDS hierarchy has used the media for years, but I think that this campaign sounds a little different than the typical ones seen on the MSM)
Of course, this has nothing to do with Campaign Romney.
Nah.
LLS
And yes, this experience pissed me off.
Just regular folks? Hey Pal why not come over Sunday and watch the game over a few beers? Oh, you don’t drink? That’s fine, we can have coffee if you like? Oh, you don’t drink coffee either? Just regular folks...
I like the ads that I have seen in this series. I’m glad the Church is putting them out as it helps me and other interested people get to know more about what kinds of lives LDS members are leading.
My experience is that LDS are regular folks who love God and trying to follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.
RE: “stereotypes of Mormons as straight-laced, white, humorless and sexist”
They left off “and, formerly, officially racist.”
Yea, Glenn beck + these ads will lead to a lot of confusion..but thank God that He promised that the elect could not be deceived
Wow. They can't even be regular folks now. Unbelievable. I guess the regular folks are those that can't have peace in their own religion without sitting around thinking about new and creative ways to send others to hell. Thanks for the article.
