What is her diagnosis for this? What has been tried? Not meaning to offer suggestions, but as a nurse, I find most people are way over-medicated and then their body just goes nuts! I have a friend experiencing this now.

We come before Your throne to ask humbly for mercy for “MetMom”. She is in despair over her health. Shine the light of Your Truth on every aspect of her salvation in You, Father, through the atoning death of Your Son on the cross. Let her salvation and her peace in You be her reason for joy, faith and sustenance. Let the Living Water and the Bread of Life be her nourishment.
With Your guidance, let her rise up with wings as an eagle; run and not be weary; walk but not faint. For it is not what goes into the mouths of men that defile them, but what comes out of their mouths. Let her mouth, her mind and her heart speak only Faith and testament of Your miraculous power to heal and restore all that the Deceiver has taken.

This probably isn't to helpful, but about 15 years ago I was suffering terribly from allergies it manifestied itself in a hive-like condition called “idiopathic dermographism”. I was very incapacitated by it. The doctors and I thought it was food related. Allergy skin tests also showed that I was highly allergic to nearly all the vegetation, mold, and fungus in Maryland.
Well...One day the air conditioner in our house broke. When the repairman open up the AC we found a think layer of mold that was at minimum an inch thick covering all the working parts and the air ducts. ( Maryland is very humid.) We had everything in the AC system thoroughly cleaned out and bought several hepa-filters for the house. I **immediately** began to improve.
However...When we moved to a dry state, all allergies disappeared including all food allergies. I am noticing though, that after 10 years of living here, I am getting some nasal reactions to pollen in the spring. I suppose I am becoming allergic to the local flora.
My God bless you during this very very hard time in your life, and I pray that you will soon feel much better.

My youngest as well. She is fragile medical-wise and it’s taken twelve years to get her to four food repeats. Her kidneys were bad since birth and she has spina bifida, which made it a hundred times harder re: alternative medicine.
If I had a nickel for every specialist I’ve taken her to (besides her nine doctors, had to sell the house).
Metmom, if you want to take a chance, I have someone here who helped me greatly in NYC. IT’s 175 for first visit (two hours). I’ll try to get her to talk to you via phone first re: history, but she has to see you. She’s amazing. She got my daughter to one med from twelve, even with the lack of treatments she could do re: kidneys, medical conditions and young age. She has it locked down where what she does take in balances and offsets negatives.
Mail me and I”l give you more info. Meanwhile give me the whole breakdown so I can schedule other options as well if you come.
I know it’s hard. I had to order food from WA state, dialyze, and anything small that was feasible. She had an impossible diet and requirements, and I actually had to call labs, AG, etcm to keep her from staying in the hospital the rest of her life. She doesn’t want to see a G tube again, even that was coming back up. I can’t imagine what you’re going through.
