I was laughing so hard, I almost couldn’t see it all. I can understand, if you risk getting killed at any second, to take a minute of levity whenever you can.
Mixed feelings about this one... Yes, very funny. On one hand, I know what it is like to be sent to a hot dusty environment and have to find ways to amuse yourself. So I can understand the troops having a little fun. On the other hand, they are in the uniform of their Country, and should conduct themselves with the proper decorum. I’d have probably done it, just not in uniform - maybe in PT gear or some such.
Visiting Israel??? Learn to Shoot...OTOH I am as aware as anyone that most military service is BORING. The risk and a little NJP would be a small enough price to pay in order to be able to say "Yeah, I did it." While drinking a beer on someone else's dime.

I am a bit confused here. First, I hear what sounds like a mohammedan howling from a minaret. Then, “Tick Tock” comes on. Where did it come from? I assume they weren’t really on patrol, and, quite possibly, they were not even IDF.
The area was probably swept cleaner than a hound’s tooth in advance.
They have to listen to the howls on speakers "X" number of times a day vs. the decadent lyrics of Keisha as a juxtaposition.
Given the choice of having fun and dancing @ an Israeli disco and not wearing a Hijab what would women wearing them chose if they had a choice via the liberty that Israel has, vs. where they live.
I have feeling the fows of Israel wouldn't know what fun was if it bit them in the @$$....
