Most of the ones I know who went ‘inactive’ got hooked on drugs/alcohol or were promiscuous. The legalism of the LDS tends to give way to ‘sin like you mean it’ and excess.
I discussed this with an LDS friend (active) who agreed that, even in her life, it is either legalism or license. It gave me a great opportunity to explain liberty in Christ to her.

I will try to get some pictures so you have a real perspective.
This thing was over the top.
I have been to inagurations, Hollywood bashes and openings, and way too many other parties. But, this was totally and completely unbelievable!
I went to a party a few years ago and thought “Well, we’ll never top that”.
This party totally beats all hands down.

Weird thing is many LDS I have talked to about this don’t know this or are secretly not going to reveal they do.
Funny, I have no problem with the history of Christianity in whole and it’s ugly periods.
Wonder if they will ever go through a reformation? I don’t see how they can.
They are separate and they are clear about it.
