A leading East Coast New Age magazine, New Frontier, recently ran a “dirt for sale” advertisement in its November issue. But this one had a twist — the dirt had allegedly been supercharged by extraterrestrials (ETs). It stated: UFO LANDING site radiates cosmic energy alters psychic awareness. Soil samples $5 + p&h.
Not surprisingly, the Boulder, Colorado firm that ran the ad did not respond to a letter asking for proof that there was something unusual about the dirt.
While it is not immediately known how many people actually sent in their $5, the appearance of such an ad is not unusual. Alongside all the ads bought by New Agers — peddling crystals, “power within” seminars, and channeling sessions — are news bits about recent UFO landings, announcements of upcoming UFO conferences, and advertisements from some of the nation’s leading names in the field of UFOs and the New Age. Some of the ads are placed by alleged “walk-ins,” people who claim that ETs have literally invaded their bodies and can be summoned up (sometimes for a fee) to share wisdom and Ann Landers type advice.
In short, more and more people today are saying UFOs have landed. And while proof that they have seems consistently elusive, it is clear that the phenomenon of UFOlogy — a fascination with UFOs and alleged space creatures — has landed squarely in the middle of the New Age movement.

Yeah, science does not acknowledge the afterlife or the spiritual realms, but they'll never convince me that they don't exist. We really have to balance our science/logic with spiritual matters. I think the intricacies of Nature revealed by science can only reinforce the notion of Creation. Accidents my hind leg!
You post very thoughtfully and clearly. I don't think your beliefs are too much different from my own. There are probably cosmetic differences.
That nails it all down, doesn't it? I take comfort in the fact that this issue is resolved by Grace and not my own "head work". The latter is ALWAYS getting my butt into trouble.

Chuckling... because more often than not posters who have proven on the religious threads... that certain ritual practices of the faith simply are NOT in the scriptures...letting scripture interrupt scripture....say the same thing. Just because it's not in there doesn't mean it can't be done or believed. Thus we are back to speculation and or belief.

On the whole, I think you're quite wrong about that.
I believe Guy Malone is right--that they are fallen angles.
It doesn't matter WHAT they are--being in league with satan is mostly all we need to know about their priorities, values, goals.
I think some mean it as simply letting the barbs drop Quix....one thing I noted on the religious threads is that people do have a tendency to knock one another....keeping in mind the nature of THIS thread to assist another whose family member has fallen into the dark side would seem to me not the place for this out of respect for the situation.
Since there seems to be already a battle to win their family back...why muddy the waters by insults and barbs to wade thru to get the info sought.

...multiple sources of mutually corroborating evidence of one or more kind. (what people say,..write..,..film)
Though these may be impressive to research and look at to those who believe there are aliens....still no one has presented an alien. They simply are not there.
Even THAT
is NOT true.
The case of the two skeletons found in Mexico--one a male--I forget how old and a woman. I don't recall if the human DNA matched the woman, or not. IIRC, the male was kind of lovingly cradled, held by the woman's skeleton.
The DNA of the male was half human and half TOTALLY UNKNOWN.
Also, the musculature fibers and bone fibers of the male were extremely different from human such.
IIRC, there have also been spontaneous abortions and maybe some chosen abortions wherein the baby was decidedly and significantly other than human--and in cases of abductions involving said mothers.
And, I know some debunkers have attacked Stan Romanek's case. However, I went into it quite wary and was impressed with his candor and with all the hard tangible evidence he had with him. I do not believe all his photos and videos are hoaxed by a long shot. Certainly his equations are not, either.
Seems to me there are a few other cases of ET critters showing up in one way or another for some kind of proof or other.
Regardless, when the critters are in public sight 24/7 and on the standard news channels day in and day out, I think you'll have to come up with another explanation.
BTW, the physical/trace evidence was dismissed overly quickly and unwarrantedly.
3,000-4,000 such cases with hard scientifically analyized and proven evidence is hardly nothing.
Tm does this to people without the UFO attached....they don't realize it til they come away from it and meet reality. Many testimonies and they all say the same thing....they completely lost their faith in the biblical God and instead were led to believe they are God. Most interesting are people who were instructors who became Christians...not thru the NewAge but once they began to see the falsehood of it...and came away.
My interest is what are people seeing that they think they see and visit (spirit guides) when doing Astrial Projection....TM....because they are solidly convinced they are traveling in another realm,( fighting bad angels for God...in order to eventually be part of the grand 2012 arrival)......which in my opinion, since satan is the prince and power of the air they are actually within the sphere of satan and his hoards....but who have changed themselves into angels of light.
On the other hand people who do this have vivid imaginations and tend to be artsy type people...right brain thinkers if you will and easily can be hypnotized. The UFO NEW agers have many seminars and teachings which push them to the next level, cleverly saying it's only a matter of their will...but no one is forcing them...rather like a reverse psychology. So how much of what they see is imagination and hypnosis from their instructors.
On another note....where the line gets real fuzzy, if they are aliens per say....most people who hold to belief in aliens do not see them as demonic..Interesting that in my study of all this what is amazing is the overlapping that is slowly occurring......each side is pulling/ borrowing info from the other to substantiate their position and the money from seminars, classes, books etc. just rolls into the coffers..... Very cunning indeed.....makes me go hummmmmmmmm.

Yes of course this has been debunked....and equally of course the debunked debunked the debunkers....happens all the time...especially interesting is the science is often times thrown out to keep the hope alive. It gets very frustrating because no matter what one believes...no aliens have been proven to be here. And both sides will never agree.
..so until I see an alien...and not some bones dug up...or for that matter a shroud....it still remains a matter of belief/faith Quix....
