May the Holy Spirit surround and embrace this family
May comfort come, may gentleness come, may the kindness of friends and family be overflowing for these , this beautiful young family.
May the children's’ hearts be touched with peace, assurance security and hope.
May strength be given to Judith Anne
May restful sleep come to her and all those who reach out to and for these in this, their time of trial. So that , hands on the plow, they are sharp eyed and focused. And thoughtful and generous in the giving they do to help Sam and his Family.
And for a young Catholic Mother
May Mother Mary herself , Mother of all mothers, who knows the suffering of a Son
Be with you, embrace you, walk with you and ever watch over you and your young children.
And may the beautiful flowers Mother brings comfort you, still you and bring you wonderful glowing peace.
May the very hand of God rain grace down upon you all and touch you to your very cores.
May the children and all involved know that this, this compassion witnessed in their lives now, the moving of others for them, is the true path
and that forever onward they can look and say “I have seen the hand of God in my life”.
May Sam be well.
Amen
Prayers going heavenwards for you and your son and family. Blessings, Mary
Praying for Sam, your daughter, and the whole family. May God bless Sam with a complete recovery.
GOODNESS!
Pinging the END TIMES list for prayers for Judith Anne’s son-in-law . . . cancer of the bowel removed . . . etc.
MAY God have mercy and grant him and them wholeness, peace, health, comfort, direction, serenity in Christ . . .
May your times with the grandkids be precious and relatively stress free.
Just saw this post, been going through some hospital visits myself the past few days (nothing serious). But I am praying for your SIL, daughter, grandkids and you, for God’s grace for healing, strength, comfort, and to draw the entire family closer to each other and the Lord through it all.
I will pray for Sam and for all of you.
Yes, certainly.
A fine freeper needs our prayers.
I add my prayers to all of those above. Cancer is a frightening thing to deal with. My daughter just had a melanoma removed from her beautiful face. She has a jagged, four-inch scar on her cheek, after a four hour surgery. It was such a tiny spot, but had deep roots that had spread. The surgical oncologist “thinks” they got it all.
May the good Lord bless your son-in-law and those who love him. Please keep us updated.
Aspirin Use and Survival After Diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer
Let me add these words of encouragement:
My Dad had a similar experience. But he was not a young man at the time. He was in his upper 60s. Same blockage, same slow diagnosis, same 7 or so inches of intestine removed.
They put him on chemo, which made him a little sick and a somewhat tired. Didn't have many sessions with the IV, and then switched exclusively to an oral medication. That made him sunburn easily, so he wore sunblock when he went down to the softball field to watch the games, which was a big part of his summer, even before he retired. (He'd been an infielder and a great base stealer even as late when I was young. :) ).
He lived for over a dozen more years. Even then the cancer never returned, and it was 20 years ago, things have improved since then. It was Alzheimer's that finally got him.
So, there is not just hope, there is every possibility of a great outcome.
Prayers lifted.
Prayers for your family Judith Anne. Prayers for your Son in Law’s complete recovery.
Yikes! Prayers up.
May The Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. |
