It's my Mom I worry about most. She will be with him through that whole journey, and then continue to walk on alone.

So true. I know after my mom died, it was hard for my dad, but he went on and will be celebrating his 97th birthday in February.

Good for him! My wife’s maternal grandmother passed away relatively recently at 108, but her grandfather passed on many decades ago — long before my wife and I even met. I cannot even imagine this; both sets of my grandparents passed on within a couple of years of each other (my mother’s parents just shy of 100 years).

I don’t know what to say... I am so grateful for all the prayers here, and I want to answer each and every one of them. I just can’t do it right now. Monitor keeps getting all blurry...

Everyone that’s posted, Thank you. Your stories, your sharing of this trial, makes it a little bit easier, and I can’t say thanks enough. Everyone who has looked and said a quick prayer to God and not posted, Thank you. You are all helping me, I know helping my Dad and Mom... every bit of strength you help bring me is a bit more I can give to them.
