Roman Catholics pray to Mary and assorted saints, asking them to accomplish something on their behalf when it is only God who determines their lives and what transpires in those lives.

Prayers to Mary and assorted saints also heap praise of gratitude, glory and (what looks pretty darn close to) worship on entities other than the Triune God.

This is basic Christianity and still RCs flunk it. They must not be doing the reading.

Orthodox Presbyterian doodahs pray to Machen, asking himm to accomplish something on their behalf when it is only God who determines their lives and what transpires in those lives.

Prayers to Machen also heap praise of gratitude, glory and (what looks pretty darn close to) worship on entities other than the Triune God.

This is basic Christianity and still OPCs flunk it. They must not be doing the reading.

There -- equally logical.

Repeating lies do not make them true - but they cement a reputation as a liar. Can you give me an AMEN!!!!!

We ask them to pray for us, just as you (presumably) ask others to pray for you.

Turning that into something un-Christian tells us all a lot about how you (mis)define Christian.
