This unfolding story of the man who attempted (nearly successfully) yesterday to blow up Northwest Airlines 253 in mid-air is nerve wracking on several levels.
First, the fact that the leg-bomber and/or his accomplic(es) managed to smuggle liquid and powder bomb components onto this trans-Atlantic flight, assemble them in flight, and ignite the mixture is cause for grave consternation for every law enforcement agency with any role to play in preventing this kind of thing. If this jihad-addled yahoo got this close to killing 289 innocent people, my hunch is that there are other such yahoos out there all ginned up and ready to go on similar airline slay rides. . . .

Because nobody on the flight recalls him yelling ‘allah ahkbar’

Well, he's NOT a white middle class American male who's a former vet... the "liberal" idea of a terrorists...
Well sheesh if you’re gonna get picky about it.
Also:
I believe it’s foolish to say that because he wasn’t Arab, he doesn’t fit the profile. A good portion of Africa is Muslim as are Asians.
The next step will be a bomber with explosives inserted inside his body. You can use your imagination of the types of searches that would be needed to detect same.
We all take off our shoes now because of the shoe bomber. This guy had explosives sewn into his underwear near some very private places. Can you imagine the intrusive exams that would be needed to detect this type of thing? Is that why Al Qaeda is doing that, knowing that strip searches just won’t happen?

It is an absolutely amazing first hand account from a Canadian passenger.
Otherwise the terrorists will get perfect instructions from the MSM on how to do it better.
So, you figured out that a Nigerian born African and an Arab look different.
Now what?
The REAL game changer was that his bomb didn’t work as expected.
Won’t it all become public knowledge in the indictments and the trial?
And he was allowed to board the plane in Amsterdam (an international flight no less) WITHOUT a passport!
That passenger who stopped the bomber is a hero and should be given some kind of an award. He saved many many lives. God bless him!
THX THX.
I can write the complete profile on the back of my business card. I could have written it years ago, and it still would have restricted this guy and the Ft. Hood guy. This isn’t rocket science.

INDEED.
Yes, I agree with you. Problem is, “the profile” I am speaking about in my blog post is not my profile, but the profile that the popular mindset has in mind when they think of “terrorists on airplanes.” You’re disagreement is not with me but with the popular perception. See?
