This unfolding story of the man who attempted (nearly successfully) yesterday to blow up Northwest Airlines 253 in mid-air is nerve wracking on several levels.
First, the fact that the leg-bomber and/or his accomplic(es) managed to smuggle liquid and powder bomb components onto this trans-Atlantic flight, assemble them in flight, and ignite the mixture is cause for grave consternation for every law enforcement agency with any role to play in preventing this kind of thing. If this jihad-addled yahoo got this close to killing 289 innocent people, my hunch is that there are other such yahoos out there all ginned up and ready to go on similar airline slay rides. . . .

Someone, somewhere, needs to clue the “air hostesses” into the fact that folks who prefer to remain living aren’t going to “remain in their seats” and do nothing while this scum tries to kill them. Those days are past and if the airlines truly believe that all of us are sheeple and will sit idly by while someone does that, they need to find a new business model and carry only the sheeple. Best believe that my laptop will be sacrificed on the head of any would-be Muslim terrorist in order for me and mine to stay alive.
Not only iss he Muslim, he traveled to countries where terrorism is supported and encouraged, he often expressed his radical sentiments loudly, was on the FBI watch list, and his own father warned against him for being too radical?
