The History Channel has been running an unusual 14-second ad that simply says:

"May 25, 2009. A Global Event. This Changes Everything."

Maybe this? ISBN:9780316070089 Library Bound #: 619216

Format: Hardcover

Price: $28.99 Pub Date: May 2009

Lying inside a high security vault, deep within the heart of one of the world’s leading museums, is a discovery that will change textbooks, change science, and change how we understand the human race.

The author of Untitled has been given exclusive access to all of the research and the team of top scientists who have been validating the discovery, the announcement of which will send shock waves around the world.

The discovery will be announced at a major press conference followed by a media blitz and a documentary that will air on the History Channel following the press conference.

More deception?

A UK broadsheet printed some names of people involved with the conference on the 25th, I don’t recognize any of them but maybe knowing the names of the Doctors/Professors involved and what they specialize in, will give us an idea of what is happening.

The names given in the paper...

Ronald Mallett
Peter Schwartz
John Titor
Yoichiro Nambu
Roy J. Glauber
Irina Aref’eva

Is that genuine? Or is it another hoax like the Michele Malkin “bikini” shot?

The second photo is notably burred out digitally.

Fossil Discovery Is Heralded
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124235632936122739.html

In what could prove to be a landmark discovery, a leading paleontologist said scientists have dug up the 47 million-year-old fossil of an ancient primate whose features suggest it could be the common ancestor of all later monkeys, apes and humans.

Anthropologists have long believed that humans evolved from ancient ape-like ancestors. Some 50 million years ago, two ape-like groups walked the Earth. One is known as the tarsidae, a precursor of the tarsier, a tiny, large-eyed creature that lives in Asia. Another group is known as the adapidae, a precursor of today’s lemurs in Madagascar.

Based on previously limited fossil evidence, one big debate had been whether the tarsidae or adapidae group gave rise to monkeys, apes and humans. The latest discovery bolsters the less common position that our ancient ape-like ancestor was an adapid, the believed precursor of lemurs.

And we've just obtained the first picture:

I’m pretty sure it was a genuine photo. It was widely passed around. That doesn’t mean much anymore though.

Based on that list, they are trying to give the impression that it’s time travel related. Where did you find this list? I think the tin foil alert is at red for this one...

John Titor is a well know “time traveler”. His name on the project for some indicates a sci-fi type find. Go to “abovetopsecret.com” and search his name. Many think he is a hoax. I have no idea. He speaks in weird twisted sentences so it is very hard to figure out what he is saying. I find him somewhat amusing.

Then another one was Olbermann’s voice (I think) announcing Barack Obama as president on election night. I rolled my eyes at that. But then I laughed because the one immediately after that was FDR...”This is a date that will live in infamy.”

I saw that and had the same reaction. :)

Being related to lemurs would explain a lot.

My in-laws, for instance.

Yeah if that list is real then this has nothing to do with fossils.
