Time to call out the Big Guns.
Some of you have heard thru FReepmail that a week and a half ago a mass was found during a routine chest X-Ray. 2 days later they did a CT Scan. Yesterday I had a Biopsy done. I just got off the phone with my Doctor.
I have cancer.
Specifically, Adenocarcinoma. More tests need to be done to determine the stage and if it is just the one tumor or if it has spread.
Please include me in your Prayers that this can be treated.The most powerful weapon I can employ in this fight is Prayer.
Daily prayers my friend.

It’s not the answer we were hoping for either but I’m certain it’ll all work together for the good because you love God (Romans 8:28). I am joined in earnest, urgent prayer for you!
Prayers up and prayer is the best medicine.
Next Monday 8/22 I go for lab work and have first meeting with the Nurse practitioner assigned to me and then a class on Chemo.
The following week on Tuesday 8/30 is my first cycle of Chemo.
What I am holding onto is:
*Biopsy #1 showed the enlarged lymph nodes behind the sternum not malignant.
*Biopsy #2 showed the mass on my kidney was mostly necrotic. (dead)
*Biopsy #3 showed some malignant cells in the lymph nodes by the mass by the kidney.
What I see in the above is that the Prayers have been working in killing off the tumors. The Chemo is just mopping up any stragglers.
Through all of this there has been no pain, discomfort, or any other indication that something was wrong. It is my hope that this all shows it was caught early.
Hang in there FRiend. I will keep you in my prayers.
So glad to hear that you are having no pain or discomfort! Once treatment begins, you will feel even more relieved that you are being treated. Prayers continue.

Jesus was speaking in terms ("hairs") that men of his day (his new disciples) were familiar with. However, I believe that our Lord can not only see, but is in control of every cell in our bodies, and every atom in every part of His Creation. And, He has the power to manipulate them to the accomplishment of His Will.

Lord, if it be Your Will, reach into our new FRiend, Petruchio's, body, and at the cellular level, use Your Will -- and even the atoms of the chemo treatments and the energy of the radiation You created -- to touch and heal him. Fill his physicians with knowledge and compassion and the wisdom to apply them to his healing.
As we have been testifying and sharing, we know that you see and control all that is -- even to the tiniest detail! So, in confidence that Your Will will be manifest in Petruchio's life, and that his testimony will uplift many who lack that confidence in You, we ask Your healing mercies for him.

Currently sitting here in the Cancer Center getting my first Infusion. So far everything is going OK.
