UPDATE:
The verdict is in.
Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma.
It metastasized into lymph nodes in the chest and abdomen. I am scheduled to start Chemo in 3 weeks. The Chemo is on a 3 week cycle, with between 4 and 12 cycles depending on how I handle it.
This is not the answer I was hoping for.
Prayers for you, Petruchio. No... it’s not the answer you or any of us were hoping for. Prayers for strength and determination. Prayers for your family, too. I’m sending you a big hug in my thoughts.. I hope you can feel it and are comforted by it. Mom
Petruchio,
God’s Word does not change, no matter what the doctor reports. Your symptoms are not the same as God’s truth. His truth says that “by His stripes You were healed.” This is the Rock on which we stand in agreement with you: that the same Lord Who healed the sick, cleansed the lepers, delivered those in bondage, and raised the dead when He walked on this earth——that the Same Jesus has said He will do the SAME for YOU. Speak that life and healing and wholeness over your body many times each day-—especially when fear attempts to overtake you. Remember that which is TRUE: Jesus-—the same yesterday, today, forever-—what He has said, what He has done, what He purchased for you on the Cross of Calvary. His Words, “It is finished” apply to your illness as well. These symptoms have a timeline. Their expiration date is near. Do not fear. I say in agreement with the Word of God that you shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord! The Lord has sent healing on the wings of His Spirit. May His peace overcome you tonight and may you know without a shadow of a doubt that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Blessed is the Name of the Lord, our Healer.
Leni
May it be G-d’s will to bring you safely through this trial and into a complete and total healing.

Prayers for you.
It’s just another fight. Keep the Faith.
Fervant prayers up!
May God shower you with His Blessings. Praying for you.
Lord Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer,
Heal Thy servant Petruchio, we beseech Thee, to Thy greater glory.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Prayers going up for you and your family,
I am so sorry that you have been delivered this news, but you have strength and hope on your side. You were smart to switch doctors. Remember, you are not alone. You are surrounded with prayer. You were led to a different doctor and this malignancy was caught. (That cannot be a coincidence.)
Prayers for you continue... Have faith, stay strong.
I am strong. I think. Maybe.
Keep in mind I live by myself, and I was clobbered with this news this afternoon. Obviously, today is the day of the emotional yo-yo. By tomorrow I will again be grounded in His Word, and will press on.
So far I have identified 2 bright points:
1- The initial fear from being told that I have stage 4 cancer really is a fast cure for constipation.
2- While I am on Chemo I will finally be able to lose weight. (I should lose about 60 pounds)
Prayers up and hugs.
Oh Petruchio, it isn’t what we wanted to hear at all.
Merciful Heavenly Father,
We ask you to enfold Petruchio in your loving arms while he is undergoing this fight against what the doctors are calling Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma.
We ask that all medications and treatments administered will be 100% effective and 0% side effects. We ask that you will guide Petruchio into finding that point of balance in his body, mind, soul, and spirit which will keep him integrated and strong in the face of this battle.
Surround his doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and all the medical professionals who are working with him. Grant them wisdom and compassion as they assist our friend in finding his way to health.
Bless Petruchio’s family and loved ones and those who are working with him to support him in this battle.
Father, we ask your intercession in Petruchio’s body at a cellular level. Let those cancer cells be halted and healed by your grace.
This we ask in the name of our Lord not only for Petruchio but also for all who are in a similar situation of need.
Father, we praise you and give you glory and our thanks for all good things.
Amen
Praying.
Praying.
Oh my dear I will pray for you.
You already know that God Loves You
