Time to call out the Big Guns.
Some of you have heard thru FReepmail that a week and a half ago a mass was found during a routine chest X-Ray. 2 days later they did a CT Scan. Yesterday I had a Biopsy done. I just got off the phone with my Doctor.
I have cancer.
Specifically, Adenocarcinoma. More tests need to be done to determine the stage and if it is just the one tumor or if it has spread.
Please include me in your Prayers that this can be treated. The most powerful weapon I can employ in this fight is Prayer.
I can understand your frustration. If I were in your shoes, I’d want a definitive answer as well.
Sure sounds like you’re on the mend so I’d hang on to that!
Thanks for the update. My prayers will continue for a COMPLETE recovery.
Prayers.............going up......
good luck!!
Continued Prayers for full & complete recovery.
it is nerve wracking to go one step forward and the a (seemingly)step back. but you are not going back. you will continue forward to healing, good health, and joy. prayers are with you.
THANKS MUCH FOR THE UPDATE.

Thanks for the ping,Kathy!
So glad for the update,Petruchio! On the positive side, it’s a LOT better to have inconclusive good news, than to have conclusive bad news!
It’s also good that you are being monitored. May each report bring more and more good news.
Keeping you and yours in my prayers. God bless.
Praise the LORD
Continued prayers for your return to good health. Stay strong and eat healthy.
Prayers on the way.
Thanks for the update Petruchio. Glad the insulin is working well. Thank God we even have it available. I would have died 14 years ago without it. I thank God for all the advances in treating diabetes that my grandma never had, like at-home easy blood tests, carb counts on food containers, HgA1C tests, tiny needles, etc. Grama only had a blood test 2 or 3 times a year. There was no way for her to have many good days back then. Mericfully, God took her to Heaven before any horrible things happened to her. We have it very good in the diabetes department these days.
God’s Blessings on your fight with cancer. The report sounds encouraging.
Peace
It’s very frustrating not getting the all clear. But as long as they aren’t sure that the mysterious spots are cancer, I’d call that NED (No Evidence of Disease). That’s cause for a little celebration. Go to your favorite restaurant, invite your closest friends and family over to your house, or take in a tourist attraction in your area. Whatever gets you relaxed and happy. And don’t forget to celebrate when you complete pulmonary rehab. After what you’ve been through, and what you’ve accomplished, every day is a bonus to be celebrated.
I thank God you’ve made the progress you have, and that you’re doing so well. I’ll step up the prayers to get rid of those pesky spots. God bless you Petruchio.
Prayers speeding heavenwards for you to be restored to health.
Jeepers. Thanks for keeping us informed. Prayers continue...
Another humble Prayer for your continued recovery Petruchio...
Thank you for the update. Prayers continue.
Thanks for that update!! Prayers will continue until you get the all clear!!
