Old-Earth Creationism
by Henry Morris, Ph.D.
Many evangelical leaders today, unfortunately, have capitulated to the evolutionary timescale of modern unbelieving geologists and astronomers. They feel that they must somehow reinterpret the Genesis record of creation to allow for billions of prehistoric years, which the evolutionists must have in order to make cosmic evolution and biological evolution seem feasible. This compromise is necessary, they say, in order to win scientists and other intellectuals to the Lord...

otay panky!
God didnt create us over billions of years. He has the strength to do it in any time frame He saw fit. Which just happened to be 7 days. He can/could/will expand the universe that He created in any time He sees fit as well. We as imperfect humans may not have the capacity to understand His greatness.
How do you know?
Genesis is the first book of the Bible. I have no argument with that. Genesis is God’s Word and it clearly explains what He can do. Evolution can not. Nor do you address that Evolution is not a science. No one is arguing that the Bible is science.
The Bible, and that’s all I’ll say, because I don’t get involved in these online creationism debates. I might make a comment here or there, but online debates? Life’s too short.
Really? I thought that was where you got your 7 day time frame?
I could ask the same of you. Does the pseudo-science of Evolution prove that? No offense to you, just trying to show that evolution is not a science like biology is, or chemistry
Why does God need evolution to make man? Do you not believe God when He said “Let us make man in our image” and then proceeds to form the first man out of the ground, and breathes into him the breath of life?
If you don’t you believe the bible is in error on its own account of creation.
a day is the time it takes for the earth to rotate. so if the earth did not exist during day 1 ... day 2 .. who was keeping time?
Repeating what is in the Bible doesnt somehow make it scientific. I dont get your point. Its the Word of God. I think what you are trying to do is equate evolution with science.
Why do you think God is unable to use evolution to make man?
Excellent. Creationism isn't science. Don't tell Gigi.
For people who spend so much time to get degrees in fields that are teaching lies, I would not call that intelligent.
Do you realize how many anthropologists have absolutely no credible careers because they have spent years and decades and written papers and theories on hoaxes? Wasted their brainpower on lies and bad science, and not only that, but defending to the death, bad science? Piltdown man, Lucy, Nebraska man, any of them.
They’ve built careers around hoaxes. It’s a shame, and it isn’t intelligent. It’s a waste.
God keeps time. And according to Relativity, which Einstein discovered, time is relative. Einstein’s ideas brilliantly disprove evolution, but Darwinistas cant seem to grasp that.
The simple answer is the first 4 words of the Bible: In the beginning God! No explanation needed!
Neither is evolution.
Pliopithecus, Pronconsul, Dryopithecus, Oreopithecus, Ramapithecus
Australopithecus, Paranthropus, Advanced Australopithecus, Homo Erectus, Early Homo Sapiens, Solo Man, & Rhodesian Man
Neanderthal Man, Cro-Magnon Man
Neanderthal was a creature, but was not a man. This is largely a semiotics issue.
I don't remember relativity in Genesis. Refresh my memory.
