"Members may not have copies of their membership records. Under no circumstances may membership records be given to anyone other than the bishop or a clerk. Although members may not have copies of their membership records, they are encouraged to have copies of their Individual Ordinance Sumary (IOS) for themselves and any dependent children living at home ("Church Handbook of Instructions," [2006], 145)."
The MORMON church is BUILT upon the statement by Joseph Smith that ALL the churchs were false!
Physician: heal thyself!
This is for ANTI's only.
LDS members just KNOW that the things their leaders have told them thru the years are right.
Elephant?
What elephant??
There is no elephant in this room!
Now you KNOW that LDS material NEVER means what it says!
It ALWAYS has to be 'explained'
Your story doesn't quite "ring true" on many points.
First, your claims about suing the church fall apart based on your source Judge Suddock who is also an anti-Palin idiot. He claimed she was abusing her childhood relatives. I guess if you think Palin was abusing her kids then perhaps I can understand how you think you are the "victim" (as you claim) of the Mormon church. Of course if we are to believe your tagline your histrionic claims to victim status don't seem to hold up on the face of it. You are a former marine and supposedly can't handle a few Mormons on your doorstep.
Judge John Suddock Likened Palin Family's Behavior to Child Abuse
Court documents show that Judge Suddock was disturbed by the alleged attacks by Palin and her family members on Wooten's behavior and character. "Disparaging will not be toleratedit is a form of child abuse," the judge told a settlement hearing in October 2005, according to typed notes of the proceedings. The judge added: "Relatives cannot disparage either. If occurs [sic] the parent needs to set boundaries for their relatives."
You liberal Judge Suddock source doesn't show up anywhere else on the web that I can find. I am interested in the true link for you liberal source.
A common anti-Mormon tactic is to falsely claim former membership. You claim to be a "High Priest" yet don't understand basic differences between doctrine/canon and historical sources or something some professor publishes.
Your "Shaken Faith" source is a private publication by a college professor named Ash who advertised it at FARMS. Professors are interesting but they have no authority in the Church and can't teach from such a source in an actual Church service. You have tried to desribe it as taught in the church. The first time I heard of it (and had to google it) was here on FR. Nice try.
Your claim to being a "High Priest" who "just" saved his girls from abuse by the church sounds like it is a cobbled together load of crap.
Over here we have another example of you getting your jollies off on trying to post false sexual innuendos about the LDS church and getting smacked down by the MODS for it. Go back and read the purpose of this forum and quit posting liberals like Judge Suddock on FR.
Do you think that you, as the poster, have a responsibility to check and see if your posting is accurate and complete?
In short, no. The purpose of this discussion forum is to post articles and discuss. It is not for posters to proof read and fact check the work of those who wrote and published the articles before posting.
++++++++++++
I would call that the low road.
