My wife fell on the sidewalk coming back from our extended family Christmas celebration. She has cut her hand pretty badly. My daughter is taking her to the emergency room now and I am trying to hold myself together and do something useful.
Please pray for her complete healing. She is visually impaired, and the crafts are her world and her ability to give back to others. She has make exquisite sweaters and scarfs for others. If she loses the ability to craft, she will lose so much of her joy in life.

Oh, I can surely sympathize with that! I’m so sorry to hear this - and I pray for her total healing. Maybe the outcome will be something that makes her hand stronger in some certain area of it that will make her crafting easier for her, ya never know what He has planned!
Make it a Merry Christmas, anyway. Someday you two will look back on this one that was so out-of-the-ordinary and tell stories about it!

I understand your doubts. However, my adult daughter told me firmly to stay home, as I was not fit to drive. She knew where the emergency room was. I did not. If time was of the essence, she would take care of it.
Why was I vacuuming? Because I was stressed out. It gave me something to do between praying and posting.

I will pray for your wife. It’s so sad when these things happen, especially at Christmas time. She’s lucky to have a husband like yourself to care so much about her.
