My wife fell on the sidewalk coming back from our extended family Christmas celebration. She has cut her hand pretty badly. My daughter is taking her to the emergency room now and I am trying to hold myself together and do something useful.
Please pray for her complete healing. She is visually impaired, and the crafts are her world and her ability to give back to others. She has make exquisite sweaters and scarfs for others. If she loses the ability to craft, she will lose so much of her joy in life.
Prayers up! Praying for quick, or even instant healing!

You might want to have some ice-packs ready. She could be sore in a lot of places. You could crush some icecubes in hand-towels (wrapped) and put them in the freezer (or outside) ‘till needed. Hope she’s feeling better soon.

Bags of frozen peas or other vegetables work great.
Also...look to be sure there is a pain reliever in the house. It might be difficult to find a pharmacy open tomorrow. Maybe get some from a service station. The ER might give her a prescription but it could be hard to fill it right now.
I’m doing both right after I finish vaccumming the house. I promised her I would do it anyway, and she won’t be able to tomorrow I think.

Sounds like you need to calm down. Relax, she will be alright. Vacuuming can happen anytime.
