Prayer request: for an unborn child

Friends in Christ,

The Lord saw fit to bless us with a child a few weeks ago after some difficulty in conceiving. It was a rather unexpected and delightful discovery. But we knew that the pregnancy was going to be a difficult one for a host of reasons. Now after the initial joy, there are some early indications it may be in jeopardy, though nothing concrete yet.

Of course we are resigned to the will of Almighty God, but we are also asking for prayers from all quarters that in His ineffable Wisdom, He see fit to allow this new life to be born, to enter the world, and to dwell with us here a little while before we are all called home to the joy of the Father's House.

If you have a moment on this day, please offer up a prayer on behalf of our child and my wife.
