Yup! That's it! The entire article. Apparently the Times Online believes it has found a novel method to projecting their views via absurdly poor photographs.

This is an ancillary reminder that you never see an embarassing photograph of Hillary in the MSM.......interesting that of the dozens of photographs I'm certain were taken of our Holy Father, the media would choose to use this one in their "fish wrap". How infantile and bigoted !
God bless you and Merry Christmas,

Although this is an actual photograph rather than a crudely drawn caricature, perhaps we should follow the logical and apparently acceptable response exhibited by many Islamists by rioting in the streets worldwide and creating general chaos? /sar/
Double standards will continue to exist during the millisecond of eternity we spend on earth, but judgement and subsequent accountability awaits those so bigoted and hateful.

I really pity the pagans who don't have a clue about what they are missing. No matter how low they stoop, they cannot take away the glad tidings of great joy given that night, knowing the King was born who will rule with Truth and grace. Worthy is the Lamb!

Or, it could be a reminder of God's veil that covers the Pontiff, the Holy Darkness of the Unknowable.

I wonder why they didn't simply state the name of the newspaper?

I'm trying to turn over a new leaf by praying for them rather than condemning them. It's not easy.

There is really only one Vatican Newspaper: L'Osservatore Romano, daily in Italian and weekly in other languages. The error in the text is the "a"--suggesting that there exists more than one.

God led the Israelites in a cloud of smoke. Perhaps the showing of this photo is more profound than the journalists expected. The Pope is the Vicar of Christ, Second Person of the Blessed Trinity in which all Three are One. I think the joke is on the newspaper.
