The American Dollar Bill

Posted on 06/05/2005 6:11:53 PM PDT by RedwineisJesus

I'm sure that many of you have now read "Angels & Demons". It answered for me (a Canadian) a question I'd always had about the American dollar bill ... "what in hell is that pyramid with the big eyeball on it on the back of the bill ???"

It's a Masonic symbol.

But the questions STILL remain:

1/Why do Americans have a Masonic symbol on their currency? Do most Americans even have a clue what the Masons stand for?

2/ How do Americans reconcile themselves with the two contradictory messages on the back of the bill: Novus Ordo Seclorum (New Secular Order) and In God We Trust?

Anyone with answers out there?

From the site, "The Greatseal.com"

"The date underneath [the pyramid] is that of the Declaration of Independence and the words under it signify the beginning of the new American Æra, which commences from that date."

The official English translation of "novus ordo seclorum" is: "A new order of the ages"

NOTE: "Novus ordo seclorum" was not intended to mean (nor does it correctly translate into) "new world order." Seclorum is plural (new world's order?). And Thomson said the motto refers to the beginning of a new age – an American era beginning in 1776. The pyramid's rising rows of construction help illustrate this new series of generations.

Relax. Did you know a large number of our Founding Fathers were Free Masons?

Many of them were also Christians, though some were Deists.

So what if we have a few symbols here and there. If we start insisting that they be removed, then we begin to recognize that such symbols have power. They don't. Therefore the symbols can stay as historical depictions of a part of our history that is frequently ignored.

Remember, Atheists want all symbols of Christianity removed, even though the symbols are historically and culturally relevant and don't represent or conflict with the non-establishment clauses in our Constitution.

But isn't it interesting how the Free Masons pop up throughout history in various fights and conflicts?

The layout of the District of Columbia was designed by French Freemason, Pierre Charles L’Enfante to depict various Masonic symbols and both the White House and Capitol building were designed by architect James Hoban, another Freemason.

The design of the Great Seal of the United States is a Masonic symbol.

It was placed on the United States "one dollar" Federal Reserve Note by Thirty-Second Degree Mason Franklin Delano Roosevelt at the suggestion of Henry A. Wallace, the Franklin Administration’s resident occultist.

Masons believe in Science above God.

I still don't see this squaring with "In God we Trust". I think you guys were "had" by FDR.

Yup...Masons have a pretty impressive roster.

But I'll lay bets that 90% of Americans don't even know who they are or what they stand for.

As many as fourteen United States Presidents have been Masons, including George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, and Gerald Ford. In fact, all but a few of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, as well as the majority of the framers of the United States Constitution, were Freemasons.

Other well-known Masons were and are the late "father" of the "positive thinking" movement, Norman Vincent Peale, actor Ernest Borgnine, Sir Winston Churchill, "Old West" heroes Christopher "Kit" Carson and William "Buffalo Bill" Cody, authors Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mark Twain, and Rudyard Kipling, comedians W.C. Fields and Oliver Hardy, as well as Benjamin Franklin, Harry Houdini, Paul Revere, Roy Rogers, Robert Dole, J. Edgar Hoover, Gene Autry, Douglas MacArthur, Charles Lindburgh, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

And these are all bad, because....

and you don't know much about the Masons.

Not saying any of it is "bad"...just that I don't think most Americans realize how much the Masons are influencing their country.

Nope don't know a whole lot about the Masons...that's the point. Not many people outside of the group do...maybe we all should find out.

Masons are sworn enemies of the Church, and put their gods of free thinking and their god of what they perceive as science above the God of all creation.

That's all anyone needs to know about them.

You'll never find out very much. Secrecy of recognition and the ceremonies of initiation to prevent imposition by impostors. This isn't unusual. Try walking into a board meeting of a corporation or even a small company without being known.

Therein lies the rub.

It's very powerful...with quite a specific agenda...and we don't know much about it.

Touch scary...no?

No offense, friend, but I think the time to find out more about the Masons is before sounding the alarm about possible Mason control of the country, or whatever we're supposed to infer from the symbols on the back of a dollar bill.

For one thing, "Novus Ordo Seclorum" doesn't mean "New Secular Order". It means "A New Order of the Ages".

I'm not "sounding the alarm"...just pointing it out.

It could be ggod or bad...I just think more people should be looking into it & understanding it.

But I guess ignorance is bliss & Americans seek bliss...so keep on trucking.

I'm ignorant? Your original post contains factual errors, as pointed out above.

The burden is therefore on you to explain exactly why we should be concerned about Masons. Misrepresenting the facts, even in error, doesn't get your case off to the best start.

It's not scary. There are many different jurisdictions of governance of Freemasonry, each sovereign and independent of the others. There is thus no central Masonic authority - which makes the implementation a powerful secret agenda quite impossible. We are a fraternal organization, nothing more.

You want a conspiracy? Check out Denver International Airport. I tell ya, with the heavy use of symbolism the elitists/globalists use, I find the strange murals disheartening.

"The design of the Great Seal of the United States is a Masonic symbol."

"A pyramid, whether incomplete or finished, however, has never been a Masonic symbol. It has no generally accepted symbolic meaning, except perhaps permanence or mystery. The combining of the eye of providence overlooking an unfinished pyramid is a uniquely American, not Masonic, icon, and must be interpreted as its designers intended. It has no Masonic context." -Noted Masonic Author Brent S. Morris

_______________

The all seeing eye and the triangle were Mason symbols.
