I still fail to see how Arnold winning in CA helps me here in PA. Neither do I. But, did I ever say it could?

More importantly, he will have more authority to govern with a blow-out.

I'll have to stop referring to it as Excremento.

because its a victory against the establishment political class, its this political class (in both parties really), that is selling us all out, so even if you live in PA, its a win.

Since California is the 5th or 6th largest economy in the world, what happens there affects us all.
If Arnold is able to deal with the budget deficit and a myriad of other problems, it will benefit the economy everywhere.

Because my fellow Pennsylvanian, we need a pro-business Governor in California to get the CA unemployment rate down. Only then will the national rate come down, and our wonderful Commonwealth be a lock for the President.
I'm ecstatic about this race.

Maybe the Tom Freepers and the Arnold Freepers can agree on one thing tonight -- this is a serious blow for the California Democrats and a slap at the Clintons and their cronies in the press.
Enjoy the moment.

The shredders will be running overtime. Let's see, just this week, the land deal, hmmm - then how about the energy contracts, Indian gaming giveaways, union pension contract negotiations, key donors getting 6-figure positions, Oracle. My, it just goes on and on. If anyone's moving, in a few days the state capitol will have LOTS of packing material to cushion those fragile boxed items!

If McClintock dropped out, would Arnold's numbers have been better?

I still fail to see how Arnold winning in CA helps me here in PA. If you still want to see Dubya in the White House after 2004, this goes a long way toward helping you in PA. Wouldn't you want to see the state with the most electoral votes not be a "gimme" for the rats? With the Govenator, there's a good chance that Dubya could be competitive in Cal-ee-fornia, changing the dynamics of next year's election.

64% vote for Republicans! Unbelievable This will be cited by the Dems as clear evidence that the election was rigged.
Brace y'self.

Let the crying on DU begin!!! Dump Davis Now!!! They're already in a MASSIVE state of disbelief! Most of them think it's a crock and Drudge is full of it! Man, I can't wait till the results start trickling out and MORE crying continues! Some of them actually think the absentee ballots will help them!! Man... Talk about clueless!

During the acceptance speech, Arnold should say He should also say that he will immediately be rescinding the car tax (dealers are choking - we're in the market for a car and are waiting for the tax to be repealed - we're getting calls begging us to come in and close beforehand).
In addition, he should detail out the specifics of an initiative that will take responsibility for drawing district lines away from the assembly and to an impartial panel of retired judges in time for the 2004 election.
