Arianna was ridiculous in the debate and ridiculous campaigning with Davis. So it is only fair for us to ridicule Arianna. She begged us to.

I just hope Governor Schwarzenegger takes a wiser approach than yours. If he ignores McClintock's ideas for solving CA's problems, then this time next year you'll likely hate your new governor as much as you hate the one you just cashiered.

Tom is on probation at best...
Olive branch? ARnold said yes... so we shall see.
Would tom take an advisory role on the budget should Arnold offer it?
We will know in about a week.

LA slimes... maybe the official "governor's" newspaper ought to be some OTHER paper of record...

Most Schwarzenegger supporters have tried to be gracious to the McClintock camp tonight. I think it takes balls of brass for you to claim that Schwarzenegger couldn't be a fiscal conservative, or lead this state without Tom's intervention. That may not be the way you meant it, but that's what it looked like and it's insulting to say the least.

I think the LA Times should give up on news and start producing paper for a more fitting purpose. Just print the news on soft little sqares of paper and sell it in rolls.

In fact I expressed the hope that Governor Schwarzenegger would be a fiscal conservative.

That may be true Warren, but Schwarzenegger can develop an idea on his own. He doesn't necessarily have to consult McClintock's thoughts to produce anything of value. There are some areas where I wouldn't mind if he adopted McClintock's take on things, but I reject the idea that he won't come up with a lot off good things on his own.
Take care.

Thanks for posting this great insight to one of biggest phoney so called conservatives on the West Coast:

I go to Sterling College in central KS (www.sterling.edu). I have heard some bad things about how the J-school in KU is heading, so I wouldn't go there anyway. I am editor of the paper this year and love it, though I have a paltry staff so I basically AM the paper.
Then you're about 250 miles from Baxter Springs, down on the OK/MO tri-state line area. There's a story down there for you, if you're interested....
