I think it takes balls of brass for you to claim that Schwarzenegger couldn't be a fiscal conservative, or lead this state without Tom's intervention. That may not be the way you meant it, but that's what it looked like and it's insulting to say the least.

Where did I say or imply either of those things? Nowhere. In fact I expressed the hope that Governor Schwarzenegger would be a fiscal conservative.

That may be true Warren, but Schwarzenegger can develop an idea on his own. He doesn't necessarily have to consult McClintock's thoughts to produce anything of value. There are some areas where I wouldn't mind if he adopted McClintock's take on things, but I reject the idea that he won't come up with a lot off good things on his own.
