I go to Sterling College in central KS (www.sterling.edu). I have heard some bad things about how the J-school in KU is heading, so I wouldn't go there anyway.

I am editor of the paper this year and love it, though I have a paltry staff so I basically AM the paper.

Then you're about 250 miles from Baxter Springs, down on the OK/MO tri-state line area. There's a story down there for you, if you're interested....
