Rush "surrendered" his ESPN position, but like all generels you wouldnt want to be over extended. He is going to be defending his entire radio empire, his little football comentary is peanuts.

Rush has been accused of a crime with this. My question, who on the accusor's side compromised an ongoing investigation? I thought that was illegal.

Another thing to remember is that Rush is a really good amateur golfer who, to the irritation of his listeners, plays in a lot ot tournaments. The quantity of downers he is alleged to have taken would really distrupt his coordination, making it almost impossible for him to play golf as well as he does.

That's what I've decided to do, too. I mentioned on another thread that I was not going to watch any cable news programs - even Fox, today. Plus - I wasn't going to listen to any talk radio show, either.

I haven't hung out at FR like this for quite some time - but it looks as if today - FR will get a lot of action going on...

Well it certainly makes no sense, we're in agreement there. Just saying that the scandal involved with these drugs isn't their possession, it's the circumstances under which that many would have been obtained. If the story weren't lies, I mean.

KFI radio is 'discussing' Rush right now. Handel and Rich are going over the McNabb story in fine detail, and will move to the drug allegations, no doubt.

I am not going to wade through 800 posts on this nonsense, but I wonder why nobody in the first 50 posts seems to have picked up on the fact that this story originated in the National Enquirer for crying out loud. This is nothing more than the latest in a long line of classless Daily News hit pieces.
