I can't wait for Rush's show tomorrow. I feel for the guy. I hope he can handle this multi-sided assault. I'm PMing him after work tomorrow morning with some kind words to help him get through this (I'd do it now, but my work 'puters block access to his site -IMAGINE THAT!)

No pain; no gain. A great many more people are awakening, IMHO. However, those who hate, will continue to hate. Lesseee... how's that saying gooo.. The Tree of Liberty must be regularly watered with the blood of ...
You don't see racist or liberal blood at the base of that tree, ever.

Geeze, so much for sports for men. (s) it must be a homosexual sports show.(/s)

That is why, as sad as this sounds, those conservatives in positions like Rush must do everything possible to stop giving ammo to the left. Fair? NO. Reality? YES? That is the way it is.Sounds like you want conservatives to act like the French and start making white flags.

There is another thread with his statement. Something like, "my comments were directed at the media and were not racist. However, it has made some on the crew uncomfortable and I do not want to cause distraction to a show..."

I felt sorry for Rush for about 5 minutes. Then I went and looked up McNabbs stats for the last three years. Considering he has an MVP and 3 pro-bowls, I'm going to guess Rush just made a dumbass statement on national TV.
I still haven't figured out why he wanted to work sports anyways.

Is it possible he resigned because he knew he said a stupid thing and it would hurt the show?
I cannot decide whether he showed character or failure.

You know what Rush should do? He should buy part ownership of a football team. He'll get to enjoy the sport he loves, and stick it to the liberals who are trying to bring him down.

for idiotic comments by conservatives; Now now now - HAD it been 'idiotic' he would have been outa there SUNDAY.
Nope, this one stewed in the back rooms of the DNC until they got a game plan together then fired up the FAX machines ...

Oh geez, now it's a FOX NEWS ALERT This could be, dare I say it, a bigger story even than "Dog trapped on ice floe.", or even "Anonymous people wandering around Peterson home for unknown reason."

Let the A**ho** quaterbacks sponsors know. That chunky soup company probably does not want to be draged into this. Hit them in the wallet. We did it to the Dixiechix, now we blitz the quarterback.I understand what you are saying, but neither Campbell's nor McNabb is at fault here. They did absolutely nothing wrong. If anything, Limbaugh "dragged" McNabb into this.
If you want to do something, I'd suggest telling Campbell's to pull their ads from ESPN.
Going after Campbell's and McNabb is wrong when they are not at fault. Limbaugh screwed up.

Rush Limbaugh is utterly trustworthy.
To listen to him over the years is to know him oh so well. He is a teller of the truth; he does not calculate his words as to their effect. He spoke the truth, as he sees it, just as he does day in and day out, year after year.
Rush: Whatever prompted your decision, I TRUST it because you have earned my trust.
