British, Egyptian archaeologists map out regions beneath Pyramids
CAIRO, Sept 28 (KUNA) -- A team of British and Egyptian archaeologists are excavating beneath the three Pyramids of Giza to find more about the mystery of the Pyramids and their builders.
"The British team, which hails from the University of Birmingham, is using the latest and most up-to-date equipment to seek the mystery of the Pyramids," said Zahi Hawwas, Secretary General of the Higher Council for Antiquities in Egypt. The team is employing a special radar that would help create an archaelogical map of the subterranean region beneath the three Pyramids in Giza, Hawwas added.
The British-Egyptian team will spend the next five years studying the entire region of the Pyramids and the Sphinx, including photographing everything for careful study, indicated Zahi Hawwas.
Already, the team has discovered, through radar-photograhy technique, the possible existence of holes or gaps behind the Sphinx which could be theoretically the burrial spots of the 26th Pharonic dynasty dating back to B.

Under the pyramids they'll probably find the HVAC and sewage systems.

I remember reading that some archeologists had mapped the area under the front of the Sphinx (whatever that electronic imaging stuff they use), and had determined there were large voids, possibly chambers (rooms) under and around the Sphinx.

Didn't Cayce predict that something would be found below the Sphinx? The Persian Gulf? Iran? Is the "Hall of Records" code for Shushan the palace? Or Abadan, the place of destruction in the Iran-Iraq war...

Enoch was instructed by God to record the events which ocurred prior to, and were responsible for, the Flood, and make three copies. He was then instructed to hide these copies in different locations. The theory is that the Sphinx is one of those locations.

Thanks for the ping. I missed the news nineteen months ago...
Goes to show you how up to date I am on this stuff, even though it interests me.
I wonder how far along they are.
