We won't see it in black in white in the paper -- or "red" and white -- but it doesn't take an investigative reporter to see the money trail into Texas to fund the Democratic walkout on the Texas legislature.

I think you misread my message. I was agreeing with another freeper in saying that the MoveOn/Communist Party USA connection is hyped.
That being said, the CPUSA is responsible for the deaths of literally thousands of Americans in Korea, Vietnam, and elsewhere; and, through their espionage and "agent of influence" activities during World War II and the Cold War, for the decades long enslavement of millions in Eastern Europe and elsewhere. Thank God they don't have the financial backing and infrastructure they once did, but that does not make them, or other communist orgs, any less evil, or any less determined to eliminate liberal democracy. Look at the huge influence A.N.S.W.E.R./World Workers Party and NION/Revolutionary Communist Party were able to wield. I don't imagine the WWP and RCP have huge budgets (though probably bigger than you would expect) but they were able to mobilize millions of "peace" protesters around the globe.

Oh Reeeeeeeeeeeg, you so personify the term curmudgeon.
The Communist Party Is Alive and Well -
Cheering Democrat Legislators On MoveOn.Org Excerpt:MoveOn.Org is organizing the protests at the Capitol and is on record offering financial support to the Senator boycott, and the Democratic National Committee offered support for the House walk-out.
MoveOn.Org is the activist arm of the Communist Party USA. But their name belies the organization's purpose. The voters of Texas have a right to know more.
It's time we lift the curtain of secrecy and ask Sen. Leticia Van de Putte and her fellow truant Senators if she will tear down the wall of misinformation and answer to Texas citizens why the Communist Party is interested in funding their efforts.
A quick review of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and the MoveOn.Org web site (its link is on the CPUSA web page) reveal their focus in a headline "Push Bush Out the Door in 2004) and the MoveOn.Org web site features a speech Al Gore gave the MoveOn group August 17 at New York University.
Citizens will likely not be surprised that the Communist Party USA is focused on helping the Democrats subvert the Democratic process in Texas. But their real purpose appears to be to defeat Republicans and elect Democrats.
What I've been thinking for a while ...The 'RATS are accepting $$$ from MoveOn.org. I suspect that MoveOn.org is a front for the Communist Party USA since the CPUSA links MoveOn.org's website at the TOP LEFT of their home page (in DARK BLUE).

They wanted to 'MoveON' when clintoon was in the process of being impeached.
That's when they organized ...
... libs never learn.Nor do they really care if it doesn't fit into their agendas.
I was amazed to see moveon.org on the communist website. I guess they don't care if people see the real honest truth anymore do they? They have the public so fooled that they are hiding in plain sight. The most revealing part is that moveon.org was started by the Clintonistas during the impeachment. I knew they were communist leaning, but you'd think they would try to hide it.About 2 weeks ago I went to Bally's for my morning workout and saw a man walking the indoor track upstairs where I was working out. He had on a T-shirt "Texas Democrat". So I initiated a conversation with him ... "Democrat, huh?" MoveOn.org came up in our conversation and he said he'd been 'over there' a number of times. When I told him that CPUSA had a BOLD LINK at the top of their website to MoveOn.org's website, he said Whoop-te-Doo !! They really DON'T care if they are associated OR if anybody knows it ...
And btw, I've been going to that same Bally's for over 7
years now and I've never seen that guy before or since ...
I thinkg Moveon.org is tax exempt (at least I thought that is what was said on the radio). Is there any way to find out?Google Search is a wonderful tool. It appears from my Google Search for MoveOn.org Tax Exempt that you are correct ...

Dirty Half-Dozen? Some groups who describe themselves as charities to the IRS but whose own mission statements say they don't do charitable work:
1. The American Cause (Pat Buchanan's Group) 2. Rainforest Action Network
3. Federation for American Immigration Reform
4. International Action Center
5. American Values (Gary Bauer's Group)
6. MoveOn.org
Read what the groups say about themselves to the IRS, what they say to potential donors, and what the law says qualifies as tax-deductible nonprofit activity. Here
http://www.moveon.org/about/Who pays for MoveOn?
Initial funding for MoveOn was provided by Joan Blades and Wes Boyd. We have also received generous contributions from many other individuals. Because MoveOn.org has only a tiny staff, our costs are very low. You can support our work [I REFUSE TO LINK THEIR DONATE SITE!!] with a secure online contribution. Almost all of our funding comes through these donations from people like you. Our charitable activities are supported in part by grants from the Richard & Rhoda Goldman Fund, the Curtis and Edith Munson Foundation, the Iraq Peace Fund, and anonymous donors. Fiscal sponsorship is provided by the San Francisco Foundation Community Initiative Funds, a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
