The funny thing is conservatives and Republicans are a "minority group" in California being subjected to hate, libel, and slander from the extreme Left here. It'll be a cold day in hell before that subject gets onto the agenda of the Fresno Human Relations Commission.

You're both off the mark. "Barbecue" is "low and slow" cooking using indirect heat (and smoke). What Americans call "barbecue" is actually "grilling": quick cooking over very hot direct heat.

This is what I use (from BarbecuesGalore). Grilling is done in the "firebox" on the left and barbecueing is done in the "smoker" on the right side. The smoking chamber can comfortably hold six 12-pound pork shoulders! No "briquette" has ever come near this equipment, only apple wood, pecan, almond. Of course, if you're only smoking, then the firebox is used to generate the smoke and indirect heat, which is channeled into the smoking chamber via a shared opening.

I disagree. The threat of hate-crimes laws may hurt SOME conservatives, but in actuality the use of the laws only affects those who deserve it. Disagreeing with someone is one thing - using physical violence to show that hate is totally different. Those conservatives / moderates / liberals who use violence against innocent individuals as a result of their beliefs are one thing: terrorists.

This is an outrageous, slanderous attack. The people on Free Republic are the best in the world. These people running this council are way out of control and they need to be slapped down!!

I love Fresno, it's my home town. It seems like liberals are getting worse and worse. The local political wackos that we had there when I was growing up wouldn't have tried anything this stupid.
