I watched This Weak Without David Brinkley, and saw no new video from Sept. 11 (Czech truck driver?). The first 15 minutes, I was switching back & forth from Tony Snow's Fox News Sunday, and unless they snuck it in while Colin Powell was interviewed, I missed it.

Was it shown at all?

LOL...Teddy "Chappaquidick" Kennedy giving an opinion on anything is ludicrous.

Steffy just let him rant and rave away - no response no question no nothing. Shameless. A disgusting manipulation of air time.

WHERE was the UN?

The UN's in the counting house, counting all their money
King Kofi's talking on the phones, promising milk and honey
As their deeds are exposed informants start to sing
Along comes the Eagle and snips off their wings!
Sing a song of power, UN pockets full of lies
4000 Blackbeards taking $ on the sly

Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US

Yes. It is time to move the UN. When an organization becomes so dissembled and without reason that is offers the chairmanship of its HUMAN RIGHTS commission to Libya or Cuba, for example, and offers its commission on arms (disarmament) to Iraq (which Saddam declined himself-with good reason), it is time to take stock, face reality, regain our sovereignty and dignity, and request a relocation of this so called 'united nation' fiasco.

A new group of allies needs to be formed, a new charter needs to be written, and only those willing to meet the charter need apply, THEN they can talk about location.

Besides-since so many of the UN creeps HATE our NATION but LOVE the benefits of living in NY and all that goes with it....it is time to let them work in a nation they adore-like Cuba, or perhaps Germany, France or Ethiopia, whatever.

I only caught a few minutes of Meet THe Press this morning, but it was priceless. McAuliffe opened his remarks by predicting the recall would fail, Davis was great, and Bush would be beaten. Right after that, Tim Russert showed a graphic of 3 predictions McAuliffe made back in 2000. All of them turned out to be dead wrong!!!

McAuloffe said: Look Tim, What do you expect me to say...Did you expect me to go on television and say that my candidate is going to lose?

Priceless!! McAuliffe basically said, "you can't believe a thing I say.".

I was pretty pleased with Ed Gillespie's performance. He didn't let a single McAuliffe lie go unchallenged. Oh he was too polite to my liking, but when McAuliffe started ticking off lies, Gillespie spoke right up and said, That's not true. McAuliffe's not used to that.

I saw Gillespie go at it with Chris Matthews and was very pleased with how he handled himself.

But I understand he made a comment about big government which I have research the whole context of what he said, because what I've been told .. I didn't like.

Are you watching today's talk show, this is the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread, or reading a book of quotes?

I actually just got done writing those comments down as I will use them to beat over the head of liberals.

Don't you have anything better to do than petty critique?

I come to this thread to see what is happening on the Sunday Talk Shows.

Usually I am not at home to watch, and lately I am seeing too many threads hijacked from the orginal idea.

I found your old quotes ideal for a chat thread, not the one I was reading.

(Gillespie)"But I understand he made a comment about big government"

Russert started out by quoting Gillespie on something Gillespie had said about this administration and big government. I didn't catch the details...but Gillespie said he was misquoted. I hope someone will get us a transcript, to decipher what Gillespie said or didn't say. Whatever...Gillespie was very well prepared for the question to come up.

McAuliffe's statement began, "This administration needs to explain to the American people ..."

Soooo .. I sent FOX an email which said, "McAuliffe needs to explain to the American people why he is not wearing an orange jumpsuit". I hope it gave FOX's staff a good laugh!!

Enjoyed watching Franken being asked how he can resolve his book about "lying liars" with his lies in his letter to Ashcroft.

Franken said he did not lie...it was a "prank."

He should be dubbed

"Prankin' Al" Franken
