I was pretty pleased with Ed Gillespie's performance. He didn't let a single McAuliffe lie go unchallenged. Oh he was too polite to my liking, but when McAuliffe started ticking off lies, Gillespie spoke right up and said, That's not true. McAuliffe's not used to that. I saw Gillespie go at it with Chris Matthews and was very pleased with how he handled himself.
But I understand he made a comment about big government which I have research the whole context of what he said, because what I've been told .. I didn't like.

(Gillespie)
"But I understand he made a comment about big government" Russert started out by quoting Gillespie on something Gillespie had said about this administration and big government. I didn't catch the details...but Gillespie said he was misquoted. I hope someone will get us a transcript, to decipher what Gillespie said or didn't say. Whatever...Gillespie was very well prepared for the question to come up.
