Unless the UN stops being a country club and does something about these people, I think we should withhold any payments to the UN altogether. Why pay for a dead horse?
Sanction them until they get off their butts. We've had enough welfare in this country already.

What we should do is walk in to Teheran, smack the Ayatollah in the face. We then should force the Iranians to turn in their research on nukes, and we destroy all that they have built. Then after we accomplish that, we walk away.

Later that night, we should do a similar thing in Pyongyang.

That is what I would do if I were the Commander in Chief. I am not interested in playing "footsies" with these barbarians. We should kick their asses and then put them in their rightful places.

I do not understand why Bush is backing away from this sort of idea at all. Screw the UN!

LOL I agree...in fact, I would go further to kick their corrupt and mostly lyin' commie butts off our soil altogether. But then, my nightmare might come true: I once had a dream that the UN fled our country just ahead of a lynch mob and moved in at Vatican City....a sovereign nation sitting inside the Italian City of Rome. Plenty of room there. And I remember reading in the Book of Revelation about how the Anti-Christ shall rise from ROME and all sorts of evil images sear my numbed mind.

I have a better idea. Kick them out of our country. Level the UN buildings and turn the property into a nice park.
