If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

See Logan.. I knew all along you were going to be a "normal" little boy. Of course you are more than normal, you are extraordinary! My baby #2 would not poop for days on end until he was one. Now, I am glad to report he poops two to three times a day. I knew you all would be interested in that !
You are a miracle to me Logan. I am so happy for you and your family, and esp. your Mom and Dad. I wonder if you will ever really understand how much joy you must bring to them!
Pretty soon I will hear tales of you crunching in the leaves, and playing with, mud pies and cathcing those butterflies. I hope you remember the story I told you about flying your kite.... I know that day is comming soon too!
Be well little one.

"I knew you all would be interested in that !" LOL!
You know, I debated a long time before I posted the news about the Termite's bowels.
I had to decide how much was "too much information".
LOL!

Yes, they did all those things, and double-timed five miles every morning before chow, although I had to slow the cadence down until they got out of diapers. We all know that you stick a special little fellow like Logan into TC's arms that Elroy melts like a popsicle on the sun.
The Termite will have TC doing PT!!!

Just a joke!
I worked my butt off so that the wife could "not work" and raise the kids through the Diablo Diaper years!!!
The stuff those kids deposits in their diapers should be an Enron size crime!!!
Take care,

"We mommies and dadies love it all don't we?" That's the definition of pure love.

People ask why my hat stays tipped.
I tell them about you.
They understand.
If you are going to be in town this Sunday (09-Nov) let me know.

I wish I were, Tom, but I'll be on this well until late November or early December.
I've got to work the whole thing from start to finish without any relief.
The IRS is gonna love me.
You make me feel very humble, pard.
