If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

It's a bright and sunny day in Logan's world today!
Can't wait to hear that he's opened his eyes to take it all in!

Praise God that there is no infection. My son Ryan (the 15.5 oz one) got a nasty yeast infection in his blood that lasted for anound a month. Nasty stuff.
Sounds like Logan is doing well and progressing. BTW, kangarooing is awesome!
Peace

We are all richer for having gotten to know him, and blessed to have a heavenly father who once again reminds us all of the miracle of birth now, and the birth that took place 2000 years ago in the small town of Bethlehem! You said it all, right there.

It's a bright and sunny day in Logan's world today! Thank God ;) That's because of the SONshine. :)
Praise be to God who gave us the SONshine!
Like many, I've shed tears of sadness and joy with these updates, BG. Thank you for serving Him in this capacity. Prayers continue.

Got your rocking chair ready?....YEP!
Naaaaaaaaa........God said to pray without ceasing.
True, but ,after learning he said" pray without ceasing" I took it literally and talk to GOD all day long, and after so many years got in the habit of doing so.
You know like when I need help getting the top off a ketchup bottle, or when my flowers are filled with spent bloosoms and the gardeners are late showing up.
I often have prayed he would remove the calories out of the bowl of ice cream I was eating or that he would nail the garage door shut for the neighbor who speeds down the street while push the remote button to open it.
Well, eventually the cap did come off, the gardeners did show up,who knows about the calories in the ice cream, I have a couple of rolls on my side that says he doesn't listen to prayers about over indulging and the garage door still went up) so, he does listen abet, selectively.
Prayers like that are "wasteful", my husband says, but then I quote God's words to "pray without ceasing" or the one that says "Ask for anything, it shall be yours"but my husband just walks away shaking his head. Oh well, can't hurt to try.
