This poll needs serious freepin. Should the United Nations have a central role in Iraq after the war?
TOPICS: Business/Economy; Constitution/Conservatism; Crime/Corruption; Culture/Society; Foreign Affairs; Government; Miscellaneous; News/Current Events; Philosophy; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: poll; un
So far the left is winning hands down, but that is to be expected from a group that is mad because the Episcopalians beat them to making an openly homosexual a bishop.

Judging from the issues I saw listed as I scrolled down to the poll this is another church that's more interested in being hip than in scripture.

I don't know ...
WHY NOT?
We get out - Save our money - finish developing our long range weaponry and defense systems ....
... maybe even get our businesses back in country - make sure we don't have to import any critical materials / food and go back to being the MOST ENVIED country ion the world!
The HELL with what the leftist extremist think.

I think we should occupy Iraq for another two years, or longer. Enough time to use the oil to set up a viable infrastructure and pay back the U.S. and other nations who invested blood and money in their liberation. This should include personal reparations for survivors of those who died and were injured for their liberation.. The liberation of Iraq should be cheap at any price for them, even to the establishment of a U.S. military base there for at least five years..
That would keep us within striking distance of any other nation sending terrorists to U.S. Immediate and massive consequences should be incentive enough to solve the problem of terrorism in the U.S. It may even keep the region and the world at a higher level of peace for a while. Who knows? Maybe it will catch on.
WMD? Saddam is proof enough, for he is, and soon to be, 'was,' the greatest weapon of mass destruction. It's not the bomb -- it's the person who would push the button. It's not the gun. It's the person who pulls the trigger that commits the crime. Get him and bury him and you solve the problem. Plenty of time after to search the deserts for the murder weapons.
Makes no sense to not finish the job and have to go back ten years later -- again.
The UN's involvement? Well, sure, if you want this thing to drag out another 50 years.
