Prayer request for newborn Freeper child undergoing surgery today

Good morning fellow freepers,

I humbly request your good thoughts and prayers for my son, Andrew Danesh Rosario, born 04Aug2003. He tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 5 ounces, 21 inches long, has my dimpled chin and his mother's beautiful hair.

Through a difficult labor, Andrew suffered an epidural hematoma, resulting in blood between his brain and his skull. He's in the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, where the pediatric nuerosurgeon and staff are top notch, so in human terms, he's in great hands. Andrew also is blessed with the love and support of our families. I am thankful for all this.

I believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and the protection and healing that comes from the prayers of the faithful. In this spirit, I ask for your communion in prayer for our son's successful recovery. He will be operated on today at midday.

Newborns are very resilient. They often recover from birthing trauma completely without any sign they had ever been injured.

That being said, prayer is on the way.

Heavenly Father, We lift up Andrew to your merciful hands. We pray for complete healing of his body, and for comfort for the family. You are the Great Physician, and are able to do mightily more than we can ask or imagine. Father we praise you for your Favor on us, and especially on this child.
