Let BRAVO Know What You THINK About Their Homosexual Agenda!
07/29/03 | Kieri

Posted on 07/29/2003 6:25:52 AM PDT by Kieri

This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:

"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.

Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.

You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."

I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

BRAVO's "Contact Us" page is here:

if anything, that show makes homos look stupid. or at least silly. there are probably gays offended by their mincing around and bitchiness. they got a bunch of rather flamboyant gays...but I'm sure they knew that would be the appeal.

I didn't make the decision to be "straight". I was just born this way. I don't believe anyone makes a "decision" to be straight or gay. It has to do with genetics or hormones or DNA or chromosomes or whatever. But it's certainly not a decision. Did you "decide" to be straight?

Cart before the horse. The overwhelming percentage of the world is heterosexual. All creatures reproduce through heterosexual mating.

This is the "standard". Homosexual is a "deviance" away from the norm.

No one choose to be "straight". It comes by birth.

Language and cultural identity/behavior come from environment. Crossdressers aren't genetic (we are born naked), can we agree on this?

Homosexuals are also influenced by outside elements (it is not genetic).

"Gaydar: ............" Again, it's only gay men who have working gaydar, according to everyone I've heard from. You seem to be demonstrating that you're straight, since your gaydar is malfunctioning.

Many would point to Noah's flood as an example of this (God's destruction on earth); however, we will just assume that this is beyond your circle of comprehension as your name indicates.

NO THANK YOU.

My $$$ will go elsewhere and I will tell the sponsors.

Yes, I noticed your tagline. God has a timeline and it will happen. Hopefully none of us will be around but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

No doubt many would. Were there any geological evidence of such a global flood within the time humans have been on the planet, I'd be interested. No such evidence exists, however, so I'll dismiss this as a scary story told to frighten folks into doing what their leaders tell them to do.

Mythology, in my opinion.

"...but being gay has a biological basis. No one chooses to be gay. You are, or you're not. "

Bisexuals choose to engage in heterosexual or homosexual acts (or else do not remain monogomous).

"Butch", episode 101, is probably my favorite so far...

(He's the mountain-main transplant who couldn't get a chick to look at him twice)

He's not got any girl trying to snatch his manhood from him.

He turns from a dumpy femmish schlub into a hunky monkey, Russelly Crowish master and commander of his life, conquering the room at his gallery opening, and turning his life in a new direction, while all his ultra-wuss gang wince and fret when they are so completely outclassed as chick magnets.

Lisa, the girlfriend mentioned above, who was pure evil (and a bad dreser herself: "theres a hooker in Jersey who wants her boots back", quips carson) and very bossy, actually started to shut up as her man exuded confidence and she could relax and enjoy her man actually able to take care of himself, as well as her.

Hmm....white men? Where did that come from? I haven't watched the show, so I don't know: Are all the guys in the show white? Are all their girlfriend[s] liberal?

You've apparently been following the show closely, so I'll have to rely on you for this information.

"Gaydar: ............" Again, it's only gay men who have working gaydar, according to everyone I've heard from. You seem to be demonstrating that you're straight, since your gaydar is malfunctioning.

Saturday Night Live had a sketch about a "new series" called "The Woman With No Gaydar" who surrounded herself with homosexual males and was clueless (I think that all of her female friends knew though).

Keep trying to pin that "gay" tail on FReepers. Troll.

Not me. I don't bend over in front of people who claim to have "gaydar." I'm a nice white straight guy. Everyone I've ever met who had "gaydar" was gay. Nice folks, but not my type.

As you can probably tell from my tagline, I dismiss this as mythology

Are you of Northern European descent?

When I visited the Scandinavian countries, Scotland and Germany, I remember meeting a lot of atheists. When I asked them what is their hope after death, they said "Nichts".

I disagree with you, but I understand that some people just don't see any need to believe in God to have a meaningful life.

For most of us, religious folks, life without an afterlife seems meaningless

(most likely Rupert Murdoch with DirecTV; he hates the other media comglomerates AND the cable companies for how they screwed him over when he was launching FNC)

I can't agree. I know a lot of rural people who watch nothing but Fox News. It's their default channel. Further, FNC will not be offered in the $25 a month package but will only be offered as a teaser for the higher-priced package. Everyone I know would go to the cheaper package except for FNC in the Total Choice package. I think FNC is used in a similar way by Dish.

FNC is, ultimately, the news channel for rural America. We started with it, we stayed with it, we are totally committed to it. And if we leave it, they'll be the next CNN (going broke).

Murdoch will never allow FNC to be offered a la carte via Directv. He's too smart for that.
