I'll get burned for saying this, but why do young star struck women think they can go to the hotel room of a superstar and not expect to put out? I also know that doesn't give the "star" the right to attack, but with so many young girls trying to jump their bones, why would he think this one would be any different. My advice to young ladies, don't put yourself in compromising situations and you will not have this kind of problem.

I am really bummed about this...it's hard to explain the charges to my little boys. I hope Kobe didn't do it forcibly (I was struck that the guy making the announcement twice said "victim"...what happened to "alleged victim"?).
But even if not, he's sure sunk in my book, stepping out on a wife who just had a baby, no less. He seemed like such a good guy, I've read some nice stories about his kindness to fans, etc. (His wife is from my area and occasionally kids report "Kobe sightings.")

my guess is whatever occurred was 100% consensual. When he was "finished", Kobe tossed her out, which pissed her off to no end. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Excuse me?! I never said I did know what went on inside that room. Are you accusing the parents! Yeesh, what are the police suppose to do? Not charge a man who admits he had sex with a woman that is screaming rape? Would you want to have that happen if it was your daughter doing the screaming . On one of my posts I re-iterated that everyone is innocent until proven guilty but the woman's credibility has yet to be discredited.

Here's what we do know. At the very least he's an adulterer and the DA has enough evidence to charge him with rape. That means he's not a man of high character and is likely a rapist.

The court must presume innocence. We can evaluate the facts as we know them and form opinions. He's an adulterer who may also be a rapist.
